We are looking for an L1 Site Reliability Engineer who will act as the first line of defence for the stability of our infrastructure.

In this role, you will triage incidents, maintain our monitoring and automation tools, and enhance our internal processes. This position is an excellent entry point into SRE and monitoring.

You will join a team that values automation and a systematic approach to work.

What will you do in this role:

    • Monitor and triage incidents using Prometheus, Grafana, curl, and log analysis tools.
    • Perform basic Linux server administration: core CLI commands, resource management, and log inspection.
    • Check the health of disks, RAID, swap, databases, and web services.
    • Communicate with English‑speaking providers via predefined templates.
    • Assist in operating Kubernetes and its components, such as ingress controllers.
    • Work with Jira tickets and follow runbooks for routine tasks.
    • Automate repetitive procedures using scripts (E.g., Bash, Python).
    • Escalate issues to L2 and development teams after initial analysis when required.

      About you:

    • Practical Linux skills: familiar with tools such as uname, df, du, lsblk, dmesg, etc.
    • Understanding of DNS fundamentals and ability to debug related workflows.
    • Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, Python, or similar).
    • Familiarity with monitoring/alerting stacks (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
    • Ability to create concise reports and document outcomes in Jira.
    • English level B1 or higher (written communication and reading technical instructions).

      Would be a plus:

    • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, LXC, Kubernetes, or similar.
    • Experience writing technical documentation.
    • Familiarity with configuration‑management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or similar.
    • A degree in IT, physics, mathematics, or a related technical field.
