We are looking to Quant Analyst to bridge the gap between raw market data and actionable trading strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing financial datasets, testing hypotheses, and working closely with the Mathematician and Developers to design strategies that adapt to dynamic market conditions. Your insights will directly drive the evolution of our trading algorithms
Main Responsibilities
– Research, design, and test algorithmic trading strategies using historical and real-time data
– Perform quantitative analysis on market microstructure, price movements, and asset correlations
– Collaborate with the Mathematician to apply models to real-world trading scenarios
– Work with developers to implement and backtest strategies
– Develop performance metrics and monitor live trading strategies
– Continuously refine strategies based on new data and market conditions.Mandatory Requirements
Education and Experience:
– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
– Prior experience in trading research, risk modeling, or financial data analysis is preferred.Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Solid knowledge of financial markets, trading concepts, and asset classes
– Strong quantitative skills with a background in statistics, econometrics, or applied mathematics
– Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and backtesting
– Experience with financial data sources (Bloomberg, Quandl, APIs, etc.)
– Ability to generate insights from large, noisy datasets
– Strong communication skills to present results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
