Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive Junior QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality of our cloud-based platform. This role combines manual and automated testing, so we're looking for someone who thinks critically, takes ownership of tasks, and is resourceful in finding solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Test new features, perform regression and exploratory testing.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to cover newly implemented features and existing functionality.
- Design, write, and maintain manual test cases.
- Identify, investigate, and clearly report bugs.
- Analyze requirements, identify potential risks, and think beyond expected scenarios.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, investigate challenges, and communicate progress or blockers.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to improve product quality.
- Use AI tools to accelerate test development, automate routine tasks, and improve testing efficiency.
- Suggest improvements to testing approaches and QA processes.
Requirements:
- Practical experience with Python, pytest, and Playwright for test automation.
- Ability to write, execute, debug, and maintain automated tests.
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of test design techniques and experience writing test cases and bug reports.
- Understanding of REST API testing, HTTP methods, status codes, and response validation.
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Basic understanding of OOP and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Resourcefulness and willingness to research problems independently before seeking guidance.
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Interest in using AI tools to improve productivity and solve technical challenges.
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).
- Personal or academic projects involving manual or automated testing.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.
