The company is looking for an experienced QA & Play Tester to join their team and help ensure the quality of playable ads for mobile games. This is a fully remote role and a unique opportunity to build and shape QA processes from the ground up within a fast-growing, AI-driven production environment.

In this role, you will work closely with developers, tech art auditors, and operations teams to define quality standards, improve workflows, and deliver polished, high-performing playable ads at scale.

Responsibilities

• Playtest HTML-based playable ads across multiple scenarios and user flows
• Identify gameplay bugs, visual issues, UI/UX inconsistencies, and performance problems
• Create clear, structured bug reports with reproduction steps and supporting media
• Collaborate closely with HTML5 developers, Tech Art Auditors, and Operations teams
• Retest fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved without regressions
• Provide actionable feedback on user experience, clarity, responsiveness, and overall game feel

• Help define and continuously improve QA standards, checklists, and testing flows as the team scales

   

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA or playtesting roles
• Experience testing mobile games, HTML5 games, or interactive content
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle visual and gameplay issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong English proficiency
• Solid understanding of mobile gameplay loops and user interaction patterns

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with HTML-based games or browser developer tools
• Experience working with AI-generated assets or AI-assisted production pipelines

About the Role:
 

As a Staff Engineer, you will operate at a high level of ownership and impact, working on systems that are already live in production and used at massive scale.

You will:

• Own and evolve critical parts of the core backend infrastructure -a real-time, distributed system written in Python and Rust
• Lead large technical initiatives end-to-end with minimal guidance
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity, complex production issues

Qualifications

• BSc in Software Development or equivalent industry experience
• Previous experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer in a startup environment
• 10+ years of Python development experience
• Strong experience with Python Asyncio
• Excellent software design and architecture skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Significant experience with at least one strongly typed language (Rust, C++, Go, Swift, Java, etc.)
• Deep understanding of networking protocols and operating systems
• Deep expertise in Python profiling and performance optimization
• Proven experience delivering and troubleshooting production-grade, cloud-based distributed systems
• Experience building and debugging real-time, low-level systems (e.g., kernel, drivers, RTOS)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience working with multiple observability stacks
• Strong LLM prompting skills, while also being effective without them
• Experience with gRPC and gRPC troubleshooting
• Contributor or maintainer of an open-source project

Bonus Experience

• Knowledge of WebRTC, STUN/TURN, SIP, RTP, HLS, or RTMP
• Experience with Rust and PyO3
• Audio or voice-related programming experience
