We are looking for a Project Director to lead a large enterprise billing project in the energy sector in Ukraine and take full ownership of delivery.

The project is business-critical, technically complex, and part of the digital transformation of the energy sector, supporting the development of green energy in Ukraine.

This is a large-scale, long-term enterprise implementation, not a pilot or MVP.

As Project Director, you will be fully responsible for end-to-end delivery of the project.

You will:

• lead delivery from planning to production launch and stabilization;
• work directly with the enterprise customer and executive stakeholders;
• translate business and regulatory requirements into delivery plans;
• manage teams, vendors, scope, timelines, budget, risks, and quality;
• provide executive-level reporting and make delivery decisions.

This role is about ownership and results, not task tracking.

Required skills & experience:

• 10+ years managing large IT projects;
• Mandatory: аt least one enterprise project delivered end-to-end (from start to production and stabilization);
• Experience with distributed, cross-functional teams;
• Practical understanding of Agile in enterprise environments;
• Strong communication and presentation skills;
• Mandatory: Ukrainian - native; English - Advanced;
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field;

• Location: Kyiv (ability to meet the customer in person).

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with stakeholders and perform ongoing prioritization, publishing and refinement of the overall backlog in a project team and according to the project scope of deliverables;
• Analysis and solution design with the team to transform scope into sprint backlogs;
• Lead planning and the breakdown of the backlog into items, providing their definitions, acceptance criteria and estimates.
• Collaboratively develop, present the functionality and collect feedback from end customers;
• Report and escalate on the use of budget and expected due dates;
• Document functional solutions designs and prepare delivery documentation.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a product owner working in IT;
• Mandatory: аt least one enterprise project delivered end-to-end (from start to production and stabilization);
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks;
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities;
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving;
• Requirements engineering;
• Excellent soft skills;

• BSc/BA Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related for understanding of product solution architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Interacting with customers for corrections, maintenance and support;
• Troubleshooting of software products;

• Implementation, deployment and support activities for billing and customer service software: CRM, billing and rating.

   

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in computer/software problem solving or bug detection;
• Experience in software troubleshooting;
• Experience in creating SQL queries;
• Ability to quickly learn and understand the entire system, both server and client side, to troubleshoot issues;
• Strong problem solving/investigative skills;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or higher) in Computer Science or similar field;
• Mandatory: Ukrainian - native; at least Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English.

• Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule, if/when required by the project

We are expanding the delivery team and hiring a QA Engineer for a large-scale energy project in the active delivery phase in Prague.

This is not a greenfield project. The system is live, complex, and business-critical, with real users and regular releases. 

As a QA Engineer, you will work close to the delivery process, ensuring product quality and system stability in a long-term enterprise implementation.

Required skills

• 3+ years of experience in manual software testing
• Good understanding of software testing principles and practices
• Solid test design skills (test cases, checklists, scenarios)
• Experience in creating and maintaining QA documentation
• Experience working with databases, basic to intermediate SQL
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA or similar)
• Experience testing RESTful and/or SOAP APIs, understanding of JSON
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.

• Mandatory: Ukrainian - native; Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English

   

As a plus:

• Basic experience with test automation tools or frameworks
• Understanding of automated testing concepts

• Experience working with Linux-based systems

   

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing (and partial automated testing if applicable)
• Prepare, maintain, and update test documentation
• Design and execute:

- Functional tests

- Scenario-based tests

- Integration tests

- System and end-to-end tests

• Identify, document, and track defects in bug tracking systems
• Participate in test planning and estimation together with the team
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers
• Follow and support QA processes and standards defined within the team
