Mimics Enlight CMF is a workflow-based software to plan the surgical treatment of maxillofacial procedures. It consists of two workflows: the Orthognathic and Trauma Planner and the Reconstruction Planner. The Orthognathic and Trauma Planner and Reconstruction Planner address the diagnostic and treatment planning needs for orthognathic and trauma surgery and reconstruction surgery, respectively.

Responsibilities

— Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code

— Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

— Help to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

— Take part in building and supporting a cross-product platform

— Code review and technical consultancies

Requirements

— For Middle: At least 2 years of commercial experience in Software Development using C++
— For Senior: At least 5 years of commercial experience in Software Development using C++

— Strong mathematical background

— Generic programming and templates, STL, Boost skills

— At least an intermediate level of English

— Agile/Scrum mindset

Will be a plus

— Python is a plus

— Experience Qt Widgets is a plus

— Experience in UI programming

We’re seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Design Engineer to join Materialise.

If you are selected for the job, you will need to undergo thorough training before handling real cases. We will teach you everything you need to know. We are not looking for experts but motivated individuals willing to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities:

⁃ A Clinical Design Engineer developing medical implants and guides for CMF based on Clinical engineer requests, surgeon's preferences, and anatomy aspects according to work instructions and established procedures;

⁃ Able to determine the high-level clinical reality and history of the patient based on medical image data, and other additional data if applicable.

Requirements:

⁃ University degree in Mechanical Engineering or the Biomedical Engineering field is a plus (commercial experience is not mandatory);

⁃ Good 3-dimensional thinking & basic experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar);

English level: Intermediate.

⁃ General engineering knowledge;

⁃ Detail-oriented and good at troubleshooting;

⁃ Good self-organization skills;

Will be a plus

Understanding of 3D-printing technology.

What you will do?

• Define, design, and write test scenarios and test plans based on acceptance criteria
• Perform manual regression testing
• Create automated tests for an industry-standard 3D medical image segmentation software: Mimics Core
• Register bugs and verify resolved bugs
• Create and maintain test documentation in accordance with established procedures
• Perform early checks for stories being implemented
• Write test plans and test case views
• Conduct regression testing

Your profile

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in testing desktop or web products
• Strong understanding of test scenarios and test plan development
• Proficient in manual testing and automated test creation
• Able to create and maintain test documentation

• Proactive in performing early checks for stories being implemented

• Degree in engineering, math, physics, or similar
• Experience working with complex desktop toolbox products
• Experience in manual testing of web products or automation testing of desktop products
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools (Azure Test Plans, Azure Boards) or similar
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (Test Management) or similar
• Experience with the Python unittest library
