LRT Automotive

Junior Procurement Officer / Graduate Trainee (Remote, full-time) at LRT Automotive GmbH, Germany.

We are a metal manufacturer producing catalytic converters and exhaust systems (CNC pipe benders, welding robots, fiber lasers). We purchase steel, stainless, catalyst components and services across Europe, Turkey and North Africa — and we are growing. We are looking for a smart graduate we can train into an operational procurement professional.

Your role (we train you):

• Operational purchasing: purchase orders, order confirmations, delivery-date chasing
• Supplier communication with DACH, Turkish and North African suppliers
• Claim and discrepancy handling directly with suppliers
• Price-condition tracking in our ERP
• Supplier performance and cost reporting in Excel
• Interface to warehouse, production and sales — remote, structured, on your own

What you bring:

• Degree in business / supply chain / economics (or completed commercial vocational training) — fresh graduates explicitly welcome
• Fluent German (C1+) and professional English
• Solid MS Excel skills; we teach you the ERP
• Structured, independent working style — you will work remote
• Genuine interest in purchasing, negotiating, suppliers, industrial products

Nice to have:

• Internship / working student / apprenticeship experience in procurement or office
• Automotive or metal industry interest
• French or Arabic (our Maghreb supplier base)

What we offer: full-time fully remote, systematic on-the-job training into a professional buyer role, real responsibility from early on — direct line to the Managing Director, flat hierarchies, fast decisions.

How to apply: Send your CV (PDF) — no cover letter needed. Applications go through Djinni.

LRT Automotive manufactures catalytic converters and exhaust systems for the European vehicle aftermarket - real metal, real machines, real customers in 30+ countries. Our products are technical. Our software shouldn't look like it.

We're hiring one person for a deliberate hybrid role: you design the interfaces AND you own the product decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Internal tools and team dashboards our colleagues actually enjoy using
- Company website and shop: clean structure, fast mobile experience, conversion that works
- Our customer portal - from first wireframe to shipped version
- The product backlog: prioritize, define requirements, align with development, ship what users need - not what sounds cool
- A design system, so the next page doesn't start from zero

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Products in your portfolio that real users use - that matters more than any certificate list
- Figma (or your favorite tool) plus enough HTML/CSS to talk to developers as an equal
- Product ownership: making decisions, defending them, standing by them
- Self-managed remote work - nobody will walk past your desk
- English fluency (our working language); German is a plus, not a requirement

WHY LRT
- 100% remote, full-time, long-term
- An established manufacturer that actually ships - your work is in production the next day, not stuck in roadmap v3
- You'll be the first product/design voice in the company: you shape the rules instead of fitting into a corset
- Small team, short paths, real decision authority

HOW TO APPLY
Send your portfolio and CV - no cover letter. A short conversation is enough for a first impression.
