We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Android AOSP Engineer with deep expertise across the full Android stack — from Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) through to the Application layer. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in embedded software/firmware development, Android BSP, and AOSP customization. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest Android versions (preferably Android 14 and beyond), contributing to innovative embedded systems in the critical middleware space between low-level hardware and high-level applications. 

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team developing and optimizing Android-based platforms and delivering robust, scalable solutions. 

Technical Requirements: 

• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded software/firmware development. 
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Android AOSP development, including deep knowledge of HAL, Android Framework, and System Services. 
• Strong understanding of recent Android versions, features, APIs, and changes (preferably Android 14 or later). 
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and experience modifying code in C.

 Responsibilities: 

• Work with Android source code and build system: synchronize repositories, manage branches and patches, integrate third‑party components, and resolve build issues and conflicts. 
• Modify and improve Android platform and its components according to project requirements, including customization for specific hardware and product needs. 
• Develop, enhance, and test Android bootloader features, including boot optimization, recovery support, and system diagnostics. 
• Customize and maintain the Linux kernel and embedded components: configure Device Tree, integrate and modify drivers and embedded modules, and debug kernel‑level issues using logs and ADB. 
• Debug and diagnose software and hardware issues: analyze logcat and dmesg logs, use ADB and hardware debugging tools, document root causes and solutions, and track issues in a bug‑tracking system. 

We are looking for a Camera BSP & Middleware Engineer to drive the design and development of a unified camera infrastructure across Linux and Android platforms. 

This role combines deep embedded Linux and Android expertise with camera subsystem integration. The engineer will be responsible for sensor bring-up, driver development, middleware integration, and image quality tuning, ensuring compliance with Android Camera HAL standards and optimized multimedia performance across platforms. 

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Linux kernel camera drivers and V4L2 (including sub-device drivers) 
• Proven experience integrating and maintaining Android Camera HAL
