English at C1 is required!
We’re looking for a Social Media & Growth Marketing Specialist to join our small team and take responsibility for attracting new users to our app and growing our media presence.
This role combines social media management, content creation, influencer collaborations, and growth experiments. You’ll also become a public face of our brand, creating videos featuring yourself and our app.
What matters most to us is honesty, open communication, and proactivity. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, is open about their weaknesses and knowledge gaps, and feels comfortable asking questions and seeking help in areas where they need support.
Previous professional experience is not required. We’re ready to teach you and support your development. However, you should already feel natural on camera and understand social media fundamentals, including hooks, content length, and how to communicate with an audience. You don’t need to speak on camera. We can use voiceovers or voices generated with AI instead.
What you’ll need:
English at C1 level or higher. You must be comfortable speaking freely in English, including holding conversations lasting one to two hours.
The first interview will be in English so we can assess your English level and how comfortably you express yourself in conversation. After that, everyday communication can be a mix of Ukrainian and English, with one weekly meeting with the founders held in English.
Confidence on camera. You should feel comfortable appearing in videos and presenting our app in a natural, engaging way. Speaking on camera is optional.
An understanding of social media content. You should understand what makes a strong hook, how to choose an appropriate content length, and how to adapt your communication to your audience.
You don’t need to know every tool or have experience with every responsibility below. We’ll help you learn what you’re missing.
Your responsibilities
Social media and community engagement
Manage and develop our presence on Threads, X (Twitter), Reddit, Discord, and LinkedIn.
On Threads, you’ll publish posts from our account, respond to replies on our posts, and engage with other creators’ posts by recommending and promoting our app in relevant conversations.
Instagram and TikTok content
Create weekly posts and stories for Instagram and TikTok. Produce carousels and reels including showcasing the app, from the initial idea through recording, editing, and publishing.
Influencer collaborations
Research potential influencer partners, evaluate opportunities, and make decisions about which collaborations to pursue.
Reach out to influencers, manage messages, follow up, and coordinate collaborations.
AI content and tools
Create videos using AI, experiment with cartoons generated with AI, and edit it.
Set up AI agents to support our marketing work and explore ways to use AI in content creation and daily workflows.
User acquisition and growth
Keep asking: “How can we get more users?” and “How can we increase our media presence?”
Bring ideas, identify opportunities, and turn them into practical experiments. Your role is not only to publish content, but also to help us understand what attracts people to the app.
Google Play and App Store pages
Manage and improve the text on our Google Play and App Store pages.
Experiment with different descriptions, using the testing options available on each platform. Track conversion rates for the different versions and use the results to identify the most effective messaging.
Reporting and teamwork
Create monthly performance reports covering our social media channels, Google Play, and the App Store. Summarize results, explain what worked and what didn’t, and suggest what to try next.
Participate in daily calls with the CEO and weekly calls with the whole team.
What we offer
- Base salary of $500+ per month, with salary reviews every few months.
- A performance bonus of $100 for every 1,000 new users.
- Equity/stock after three months of work.
- Learning support and access to experienced specialists. If you have knowledge gaps in marketing or other areas, we can pay for one or two consultations per month with more experienced specialists and purchase educational materials.
We don’t expect you to know everything from day one. We’re ready to teach you, help you develop your skills, and give you room to grow alongside the app.
