About the role
Icebreaker Agency is looking for a hands-on Marketing Assistant to work directly with the founders on growing the agency. This isn't a "post and pray" role — you'll be in the trenches testing new marketing hypotheses, experimenting across go-to-market (GTM) channels, and helping us find what actually works. If you're curious, scrappy, and like seeing the direct impact of your work, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do:
Run and manage social media activity across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Reddit
Find and engage opportunities on platforms like Reddit and Upwork (outreach, responding to relevant threads, identifying leads)
Help test new marketing hypotheses and GTM channels alongside the founders, then report on what's working
Handle light copywriting — posts, replies, short outreach messages, and edits
Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and other LLMs) to speed up everyday tasks and small projects
Support various day-to-day marketing tasks as they come up

What we're looking for:
English at C1 / full professional fluency — strong, natural written and spoken communication
Hands-on experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or other LLMs for simple tasks and projects
Comfortable navigating Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Upwork
Self-starter who can run small experiments and follow through without heavy oversight
Organized, responsive, and reliable with deadlines
Bonus: prior experience in marketing, growth, lead gen, or community engagement
