About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer with strong experience in modern front-end technologies — Astro, Svelte (via Astro Islands), and Tailwind CSS.

The first major project will be migrating our legacy Java/Spring/Pebble frontend, which is tightly coupled to backend code, to a new decoupled frontend architecture using Astro.

Main Tasks

• Migrate existing Java/Spring/Pebble templates and components to Astro.
• Build UIs using Tailwind CSS.
• Use Svelte for dynamic or interactive components within Astro Islands.
• Optimize page performance, caching, and SEO (Cloudflare, static site generation, etc.).
• Develop reusable UI components and maintain a consistent design system.
• Collaborate closely with designers (Figma) and backend developers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in modern front-end development.
• Hands-on experience with Astro, Svelte, and Tailwind CSS.
• Understanding of static site generation and hybrid rendering concepts.
• Experience with front-end performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
• Able to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
• Fluent Ukrainian
• B2+ English.
