An international team is developing and testing a robotic surgical platform. We are looking for a Mid-level Test Engineer who will own a module/subsystem, plan testing activities, improve coverage and contribute to test automation.

Requirements

Must have:

• 2–4 years of experience in software testing (ideally complex systems: embedded, medical, automotive, robotics, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of test design techniques, test types and software development life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with Jira / Confluence or similar tools.
• Practical experience in creating and maintaining test cases and test plans.
• Basic hands-on experience with test automation (Python).
• Understanding of CI/CD processes (GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar).
• English at B1–B2 level or higher (calls, demos, communication with the customer).

Nice to have:

• Experience in medical projects and understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. IEC 62304, ISO 13485).

• Plan and execute functional, regression, integration and system testing of software and firmware.
• Analyse requirements, design and maintain test cases, test plans and checklists.
• Log, prioritise and track defects in Jira; participate in bug reviews.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, safety and quality teams.
• Support preparation of test setups and test data.
• Contribute to test automation (UI/integration/system tests – depending on the area).
• The candidate should be able not only to write automated tests, but also to actively contribute to the development and improvement of the test automation framework.

GlobalLogic has been engaged in exploring opportunities to implement ML/AL/GenAI-powered applications for multinational industrial conglomerate since 2023, aiming to enhance business efficiency.

You will be working on projects implying complex data processing pipelines for predictive maintenance anaylitics.

• Practical experience profiling and removing GPU bottlenecks (memory, kernels, launch configs, batching, concurrency).
