We are GETAWAY – a connected vehicles platform

We develop and operate an end-to-end platform for car sharing and car rental, currently serving customers in Germany, Austria, and Spain.

We are a team with big ambitions and a strong engineering culture. Because technology is at the core of our business, practices such as Pair Programming, CI/CD, and TDD are fundamental to how we work.

As a backend engineer you will be responsible for
* Designing, specifying and implementing product features.
* Implementing, maintaining and researching tools and technologies.
* Implement scalable cloud native application and infrastructure.
* Organise backend team communication with the reset of the team and the company

An ideal candidate is someone who's

Expert in Vanilla JakartaEE development (JPA, JAX-RS)

comfortable with TDD and Pair Programming

have hands-on experience with AWS

committed to automation and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have: An architect / team lead background and startup experience
