    We are launching a high-priority experimental project to build a new Order Management System (OMS) for a leading European retail company.
    The system will be developed using a modern AI-driven coding approach, where the engineer acts as a “product builder” and leverages agentic tools to deliver features at high speed.

    You will focus on product logic, system design, and decision-making, while AI handles most of the boilerplate and routine coding tasks. A dedicated team of architects, QA engineers, DevOps, and code reviewers supports the development process.

    This is a long-term role for a senior engineer comfortable with modern AI tools and eager to participate in an experimental, forward-thinking project.

    Tech Stack

    • PHP
    • Laravel
    • SQL
    • REST APIs
    • Git
    • Cursor (AI coding tool)

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of backend development experience
    • Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
    • Deep understanding of Laravel architecture (Eloquent, Middleware, Service Providers)
    • Experience designing database schemas and APIs
    • Strong system design and product thinking
    • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) is a strong plus
    • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of features
    • Upper-Intermediate+ English

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive development of the OMS using AI-assisted workflows
    • Translate product requirements into technical implementation
    • Design database schemas and API structures
    • Rapidly iterate on the Laravel codebase using agentic tools
    • Perform initial checks of AI-generated code
    • Collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps teams
    • Document architecture and decisions

    About the Client

    • Industry: Sporting Goods
    • Location: Austria

    The company, founded in 1964, operates more than 280 stores across Austria with a total sales area exceeding 180,000 square meters and around 3,600 employees nationwide. Together with over 100 retailers, they have become the leading sports retail company in Austria.

    The dealer network serves more than 1.8 million loyal customers. The company also has a presence in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, and is recognized as a trusted partner for sports-related products and services.

    About the Project:

    You will work on a new Order Management System (OMS) designed to support large-scale retail operations.

    The system will help the business:

    • manage orders across multiple channels,
    • coordinate product flows,
    • optimize processes across the product lifecycle,
    • deliver value to both customers and internal teams.

    The project follows an experimental AI-driven development approach, focusing on high delivery speed and strong architectural support.

    What’s special about this role:

    • Experimental AI-driven development approach

    FlexMade is looking for an Email Marketing / Marketing Automation Specialist to join a long-term project for a U.S.-based digital media company.

    This role is focused on email marketing operations and automation inside Blueshift CDP, including building email flows, working with user segments, personalization logic, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
    It is not a pure HTML email development role — most of the work happens through automation, logic configuration, and low-code tools within the CDP.

    Team & collaboration format

    • The email/automation team currently consists of 4 people (team lead + 3 specialists).
    • Long-term collaboration is expected.

    How the work is structured

    Most day-to-day tasks are performed inside Blueshift CDP, a large platform for email marketing and automation.

    The role includes working with:

    • email sequences and automation flows;
    • user segmentation (e.g., users interested in Health, Money, Universities, etc.);
    • automation logic, including:
      • first email → delay → follow-up;
      • if / else conditions;
      • triggers based on user actions on the website;
      • time-based sends after specific events.

    Low-code & visual configuration

    A significant part of the role involves low-code and visual setup, such as:

    • working with drag-and-drop editors;
    • selecting and configuring existing templates;
    • setting conditions for when specific content blocks are displayed
      (e.g., different images or messages depending on the scenario or segment).

    About templates and technical work

    This role is not about constant manual HTML email coding or working in a code editor all day.

    • Most templates are simple, classic newsletter formats:
      • no complex animations,
      • no parallax or unstable effects.
    • In many cases, templates are configured directly inside the platform using visual tools.
    • HTML / CSS / Liquid are still important, but mainly for:
      • adapting and fine-tuning templates;
      • configuring personalization and dynamic content;
      • fixing bugs;
      • testing and quality control.

    What kind of specialist we are we looking for

    The ideal candidate:

    • feels comfortable working with CDPs and email marketing platforms;
    • can logically and carefully build and maintain email automations;
    • is highly detail-oriented and quality-focused:
      • correct segmentation,
      • relevant content for the right audience,
      • avoiding situations where users receive incorrect or irrelevant emails;
    • communicates proactively, asks clarifying questions, and aligns decisions with stakeholders — rather than executing tasks blindly.

    Communication & English

    • At the beginning, there will be a lot of live communication, including:
      • video calls,
      • discussions around automation logic,
      • joint setup of initial scenarios.
    • Therefore, confident spoken English is required, not just written communication.
