About Fleet Chaser
Fleet Chaser is a U.S.-based B2B SaaS company helping construction, logistics, and service fleets (10+ vehicles) run smoother. Our platform brings everything into one place β real-time vehicle location and status, service data, tasks, time tracking, and reports. We're building products that make fleet managers' and field employees' lives easier every single day.
Now we're looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to join our team and own the mobile side of the product β the app our field employees rely on every day out in the field. We care less about the title on your CV and more about the fire in your eyes, your initiative, and your ability to ship.
What you'll do
Our mobile app is how drivers and field crews interact with Fleet Chaser β tasks, time tracking, navigation, real-time updates, and push notifications. You'll build new features, improve existing screens, and keep the app fast and stable across iOS and Android as we grow.
- Develop and maintain our mobile app using Flutter & Dart.
- Build new features end-to-end β from Figma to the stores.
- Improve existing modules β performance, UX polish, and edge cases that come from real customers in the field.
- Integrate REST APIs, real-time updates, and third-party services.
- Work with Firebase β push notifications, messaging, and more.
- Own the release process β App Store Connect and Play Console.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with proper testing.
- Propose ideas, improve approaches, and help us build not just tasks, but a great product.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience in mobile development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Flutter, with strong command of Flutter and Dart.
- Experience integrating REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with BLoC or a similar state management approach.
- Experience with GoRouter.
- Experience with Firebase β Messaging / push notifications at minimum.
- Understanding of mobile app release processes (App Store Connect / Play Console) + shorebird
- Strong code review culture (well-described PRs, responsive to comments).
- Mindful use of AI tools. You own everything you push. Review what the model gives you before it lands in main β "the AI did it" is not an answer.
- English level: B1+
What matters beyond skills
- Initiative β bring ideas, propose improvements, don't wait for someone to hand you the next task.
- Ownership β take a spec, drive it to the stores without micromanagement. You're responsible for the code you push, including the AI-generated parts.
- Discipline β review your own diffs before they leave your machine. Every commit. Every PR.
- Finish what you start β no features sitting at 80% for weeks.
- Honesty β when something breaks or slips, name it. We all make mistakes; we deal with them faster when nobody hides behind tooling.
- Concrete communication β short updates, on-point questions, no fluff. Remember what you worked on yesterday and be ready to talk about it.
- Pragmatism β balance quality and deadlines, no overengineering.
- Receptive to feedback β engage with code review without defensiveness.
- Product mindset β dive deep into the product, understand the why, not just the what.
Nice to have
- Real-time / live-tracking UI experience (location updates, maps, background location).
- Experience with native platform channels or writing small native (Swift/Kotlin) pieces when needed.
- CI/CD for mobile (Codemagic, Fastlane, GitHub Actions).
- B2B SaaS / fleet / logistics domain knowledge.
Why Fleet Chaser

- Remote-friendly, flexible work setup.

Hiring process
- Screening call with Vlad (PM) β up to 1 hour.
- Technical interview with the team β up to 1 hour.
