About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to own the company’s financial control cycle end to end: from month-end close and reporting through to the procedures and controls behind them.

You will lead a growing accounting team across the Estonian parent and the Ukrainian subsidiary, and you should expect to work hands-on with source documents, statutory filings and reconciliations alongside the strategic work until processes are institutionalised.

This is not a role for someone who maintains existing spreadsheets and waits for instructions. You will report directly to the CFO and be expected to see the whole picture: spot what is inefficient, propose the fix, and implement it — including through AI-driven and software automation.

Responsibilities

Reporting and close

• Own financial reporting and drive the month-end and year-end close processes
• Establish a documented close calendar with named owners, cut-off rules and reconciliation checkpoints — and hold the group to it
• Own group reporting across the Estonian parent and the Ukrainian subsidiary, including intercompany elimination

Accounting policy under external scrutiny

• Own the accounting policies that carry the most weight in a fundraising review — revenue recognition on defence contracts (IFRS 15), R&D capitalisation (IAS 38) and grant accounting (IAS 20), IFRS 2 — and be able to defend them to auditors and investor-side reviewers
• Oversee statutory and tax compliance in both jurisdictions, working with our external accounting providers and ensuring project-level grant reporting reconciles to the ledger

Controls, process and automation

• Develop financial policies, procedures and controls from the ground up — the reporting discipline that lets leadership rely on the numbers without re-deriving them
• Play a key role in ERP setup and use it as a lever to streamline and automate business processes across the company
• Continuously build, optimise and automate reporting, procedures and financial control tools — including with AI tools (Claude or similar) alongside the ERP and related software.

Planning and analysis

Supply the reporting base and contribute to budgeting and financial modelling — actuals, cost structure, project-level data — and support ad-hoc requests from leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years in financial controlling or financial reporting, built on a strong professional foundation — either Big 4 / Big 10 practice experience followed by hands-on industry work, or equivalent depth gained in-house, preferably at international or large Ukrainian companies
• Practical experience preparing a company for IFRS adoption and external audit
• Hands-on experience with cross-border group structures and non-resident entities: intercompany services, transfer pricing documentation, currency control, cross-border payroll
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Ukrainian accounting standards (NAS). IFRS at the level of a confident practitioner who can write and defend a policy, not only apply one
• ACCA qualified or in progress
• Strong proficiency in English and Ukrainian
• Confidence to lead and coach a team, and to hold your ground with auditors and advisers
• Hands-on ERP experience, ideally through an implementation, setup or migration

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools for process automation in accounting and controlling
• Experience in a company that went through a venture funding round or a liquidity event
• Experience in product software, defence, dual-use or government contracting
• Practical knowledge of JIRA and Quickbooks
• Cross-cultural work experience

We are looking for a Field QA Engineer to own the quality of the navigation software running on unmanned ground vehicles — validated against the real, physical unit in the field, not just in a simulator, and then to represent that quality live in front of customers and partners. This is not a desk-only QA role: roughly 70% of your time is hands-on testing (hardware, software, networking, and simulation), and the rest is running and supporting live demos — where you’ll set up the system, troubleshoot on the spot, and carry field feedback back to the engineering team. You will need to be comfortable working from a command-line/terminal interface (Linux shell, SSH, logs), just as comfortable with cables and connectors, and equally comfortable explaining what you’re doing to a non-technical audience abroad.

Responsibilities

• Test the robot as a full system — hardware, software, and the connection between them — not just the application layer
• Validate network and wireless connectivity between the robot and its control station, and diagnose connection issues (latency, packet loss, dropped links) when they occur
• Get physically hands-on with the unit: cabling, connectors, power, sensors — you are expected to understand the device, not just the screen showing its output
• Travel for field testing as needed
• Identify, reproduce, and clearly document bugs across hardware and software, and work directly with engineers to get them resolved fast
• Represent Farsight Vision at demos for international customers and partners — presenting the platform, fielding technical questions, and troubleshooting live
• Act as the link between engineering and the field/business context: collect feedback from demos and clients and translate it into clear, actionable input for the team
• When bandwidth allows, extend testing support to other Farsight Vision products (FSP platform, FSV app)

Requirements

• QA experience with hardware, embedded, or IoT-adjacent systems — not purely web/app QA
• Working understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP basics, wireless protocols, and how to diagnose connectivity problems
• Comfortable working hands-on with physical devices and basic diagnostic tools
• Basic knowledge of Linux terminal
• Basic knowledge of networking (IP address, VPN, ethernet, router vs switch, etc.)
• Advanced English (Upper-Intermediate+); able to present and troubleshoot live in front of international customers

Nice to have

• A hands-on electronics hobby — soldering, hardware tinkering, home lab, ham radio, or similar. If you’ve ever taken something apart just to understand how it works, that instinct is exactly what this role needs
• Prior QA experience on robotics, drones, or other physical/autonomous systems
• Prior experience presenting technical products to non-technical or business audiences
• Familiarity with network diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark)
• Ability to pick up basic UAV piloting

We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to own motion control for our unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) end-to-end – from control theory on paper to a robot that actually moves the way you designed it to. This is not a role for someone who wants control loops handed to them pre-tuned: you will design, implement, and validate them on hardware yourself

Responsibilities:   

- Implement navigation and control algorithms for different types of UGVs: differential drive, tracked wheels, Ackermann steering, etc

- Design and implement control algorithms (PID and beyond) that translate navigation commands into reliable robot motion

- Own the control stack end-to-end – from algorithm design through tuning and validation on the physical unit

- Simulate physical driving for different types of wheels and terrains before deploying to hardware

- Work closely with the Robotics team on actuator and sensor integration, since control quality is only as good as what it's built on

- Debug control issues that only show up in the field, not in simulation – this role is hands-on with the physical robot in Lviv

- Collaborate with the Perception Engineer so control decisions correctly account for obstacle and environment data

- Propose architecture and design decisions rather than waiting to be handed a fully-scoped ticket: this is a small team building a new capability almost no one in the Ukrainian market has shipped yet

 
Requirements:   

- Strong mathematical foundation: linear algebra, calculus, and the algorithmic thinking control systems are built on

- Practical experience with control theory – PID control at minimum, ideally more advanced control approaches

- Background in robotics, guidance, or navigation systems (e.g., autonomous vehicle guidance, drone terminal guidance, or similar)

- Experience with physics simulators (e.g. Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac, MATLAB, Simulink), with the ability to simulate dynamic models and verify controller performance before deployment

- Experience working with sensors such as IMU, LiDAR, etc.

- Knowledge of state estimation and filtering (e.g. Kalman filter, extended Kalman filter, complementary filter)

- Solid programming skills in C++ (and Python for prototyping)

- Good OOP skills — ability to write and design clean code that's flexible to extend and maintain

- Comfortable working close to hardware, not purely in a software abstraction layer

- Upper-Intermediate+ English

Nice to have:

- Experience with ROS/ROS2

- Path planning algorithms (A*, D*, RRT, etc.)

- Prior work on UAV or UGV guidance/navigation systems

- Defense-tech or military-tech industry exposure

- Embedded systems or hardware-adjacent experience

- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready computer vision algorithms for image and video analysis in GIS-related applications
- Build end-to-end perception pipelines – data collection, preprocessing, model development, deployment, and monitoring

Requirements:
- Expert-level Python – this is our primary engineering language. You must be comfortable writing clean, efficient, production-quality Python code
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and applied machine learning
- Deep working knowledge of core CV and ML libraries: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and related tooling
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and model development workflows end-to-end
- Hands-on experience with Visual Place Recognition (VPR) algorithms and techniques, including descriptor-based retrieval, sequence matching, and localization under varying conditions
- Proven ability to port, optimize, and run CV/ML models on embedded devices and edge hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms)
- Proven experience with image processing, model training, and evaluation methodologies
- Ability to translate research into reliable engineering outputs with minimal supervision
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field – or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Strong analytical thinking and clear communication in a cross-cultural, fast-moving team.

Would be a plus:
- Experience with graphics APIs: OpenGL, OpenGLES, or Direct3D
- Background in graphical algorithms, 3D rendering, or computational geometry

We create multi-layered digital twins of terrain with dynamic tracking and object/landscape monitoring and predicting.

As a Senior Python Software Engineer, you will be a core part of our technology team, responsible for building and maintaining the backend infrastructure of the FSV Platform. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Python-based frameworks, cloud services, and machine learning operations (MLOps), to develop a platform that processes and analyzes drone data to create 3D models and orthophotos. Your role will involve not only backend development but also basic DevOps tasks and collaboration with frontend teams, making this a dynamic and versatile position.

Responsibilities

• Design and own backend services for the FSV Platform — API design, data models, and the pipelines behind orthophotos, 3D models and detections.
• Architect and operate hybrid CPU/GPU workloads: queue, schedule and scale heavy processing jobs, keep throughput predictable and cost per job under control.
• Deploy and run compute-heavy services in production, including ML models delivered by our ML team — packaging, versioning, monitoring, redeployment.
• Work with the platform's cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, scalability and reliability.
• Use AI coding tools daily, and review, test and stand behind every line that ships. We judge output the same way regardless of whether a human or a model wrote it.
• Evaluate new tools and protocols: run a small PoC, measure it, and bring the team a reasoned recommendation rather than a link to a hype thread.
• Debug and improve a system that runs in the field, where degraded connectivity and GNSS-denied conditions are the normal operating mode, not an edge case.
• Work closely with ML, frontend and field teams; occasionally pick up a frontend task when it unblocks delivery.
• Requirements
• 5+ years in software development.
• Strong Python (3+ years) with Django — this one is non-negotiable. Familiarity with Flask, FastAPI or Celery is a plus, but Django is what our platform runs on.
• Experience architecting compute-heavy systems: splitting CPU and GPU work, orchestration and queueing (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Ray or similar), batching, and the trade-offs around GPU memory and throughput.
• Solid AWS or equivalent, including GPU instances, large-media storage and cost control.
• DevOps fundamentals: Docker, CI/CD, deploying and managing environments.
• Daily work with AI assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and an explicit personal process for validating their output — tests, benchmarks, reading the actual docs or source. We will ask you to walk us through it.
• A habit of following releases and new tooling, plus the judgment to separate what's worth adopting from noise. Be ready to name two things you started using in the last six months and why.
• Basic React — able to assemble a simple project independently.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup: ambiguous requirements, high ownership.
