We’ve been operating in the crypto industry for over 10 years, building long-term teams and sustainable processes. Now we’re looking for a CFO who can take full ownership of the financial and legal function in a crypto business — from daily liquidity control to building structures that can withstand audits, regulators, and rapid growth.

This role is hands-on and strategic at the same time. You’ll work closely with the CEO, shareholders, Compliance, Product, and Operations, and will be responsible for the financial stability and transparency of the entire group.

What you’ll be doing

• Take ownership of the financial and legal function across the group of crypto companies.
• Ensure stable liquidity and asset safety (fiat and crypto).
• Oversee treasury management, cash flows and reserves, preventing cash gaps and account blockages.
• Maintain full financial visibility and control at group level.
• Prepare and oversee management reporting for leadership and shareholders.
• Control and optimize cost structure.
• Manage the group legal structure (opening and closing entities, financial reporting).
• Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Product and Operations on financial topics.
• Support licensing and regulatory processes from the financial side.
• Manage and develop the finance & legal team (5–10 people).
  
  What we expect from you 
• 2+ years of experience as CFO / Head of Finance / Deputy CFO in the financial industry.
• Experience in fintech, crypto projects, exchanges or PSPs.
• Strong understanding of how a crypto exchange operates
• Ability to analyze and reconcile on-chain transactions with internal reports and accounting.
• Practical experience dealing with incidents: stuck transactions, balance discrepancies, delayed withdrawals, cross-chain issues.
• Solid background in treasury management (fiat & crypto): liquidity, reserves, risk of blockages.
• Experience working with complex multi-entity legal structures, including offshore jurisdictions.
• Understanding of tax and legal structuring principles.
• Proven people management experience (5–10 team members).
• Experience building or improving finance processes: treasury, controlling, management reporting.

We are looking for a Finance Manager who will take ownership of treasury operations, crypto and fiat reconciliations, and management reporting in a regulated, multi-jurisdiction environment.

In a crypto exchange, treasury accuracy and reconciliation quality directly impact operational stability, liquidity management, and regulatory standing.
This role is critical for ensuring financial transparency, effective cash flow control, and reliable reporting across the group.

What you will be responsible for

• Own the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery
• Lead reconciliation of cryptocurrency balances and user liabilities across internal systems
• Oversee fiat treasury operations, including managing relationships with payment providers and financial institutions
• Monitor and optimize cash flow, commissions, and currency exposure
• Ensure proper cost accounting and support budget control
• Be fully responsible for preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS across multiple jurisdictions
• Communicate and coordinate work with external advisors across jurisdictions (auditors, accountants, tax consultants, etc.)
• Coordinate tasks of junior finance staff and support their day-to-day execution
• Drive implementation of new management accounting practices and policies as the company evolves its internal reporting framework
• Collaborate closely with Compliance and Legal to align financial processes with regulatory requirements
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of financial reporting and reconciliation processes

This role requires strong analytical depth, operational ownership, and the ability to structure financial processes in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of experience in finance, treasury, or financial reporting in complex environments (crypto, fintech, or financial institutions preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with IFRS and statutory reporting
• Practical experience in treasury management, currency risk management, and payment provider operations
• Experience working with cryptocurrency transactional data and reconciliations in the B2B segment
• Solid understanding of compliance requirements for financial institutions
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and participation in implementation of new ERP solutions (QuickBooks experience is a strong advantage)
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive processes forward
• Fluent English (required)
• Ukrainian or Russian for internal communication

Would be a plus

• Understanding of cross-border (foreign economic) transactions and supporting documentation flows, including tax implications
• Progress toward or completion of professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CIMA
• Experience working with high-risk industries or maintaining relationships with financial institutions serving such industries

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to solve business problems and identify product, market, and customer trends and opportunities;
• Act as a data owner for a wide scope of metrics and reporting layers — from core data logging to end-user data visualizations;
• Maintain, optimize, and expand key dashboards, reports, and metrics to support operational and strategic decision-making;
• Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define, track, and maintain core business KPIs;
• Lead complex deep-dive analyses and provide actionable insights that shape product strategy and business growth.
• Mentor and guide a Junior BI Specialist within the team, providing technical direction, support, and feedback on tasks and development goals.

Required skills

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to structure ambiguous problems using data;
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large data sets;
• Experience with BI tools (Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar);
• Familiarity with mobile/web analytics platforms (e.g., Appsflyer, Firebase, Amplitude);
• Experience in the fintech or crypto industry
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical teams
