EcomTraffic is looking for a Shopify Developer who loves building high-performing e-commerce experiences and enjoys working with modern AI-powered development tools.

We work with ambitious e-commerce brands across Europe and focus heavily on conversion rate optimization, performance, and experimentation. As a Shopify Developer at EcomTraffic, you won’t just build pages - you’ll help build experiences that convert.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and sections
• Build high-performance landing pages optimized for conversion
• Implement CRO experiments and A/B tests
• Work closely with our CRO strategists and designers
• Build reusable Shopify components and scalable theme architecture
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and tracking setups
• Help improve our internal development workflows

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with Shopify (Liquid, themes, sections, metafields)
• Solid skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience working with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong eye for performance and clean code
• Comfortable collaborating with designers and CRO specialists

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience working with Shopify Plus
• Have experience with CRO or experimentation
• Have experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor
• Have experience optimizing Core Web Vitals

The Role

We’re looking for a Shopify Front-End Developer who:

• Knows Liquid inside-out
• Builds scalable, modular theme architectures
• Understands CRO and performance
• Uses AI coding tools like Cursor, Antigravity, or similar vibe coding environments to ship faster

You will work on:

• Custom Shopify themes (not just Dawn edits)
• Converting Figma designs into scalable Liquid sections
• Building reusable sections & metafield-driven components
• Improving site speed and technical SEO
• Implementing CRO tests & dynamic content blocks
• Building internal tooling that accelerates development

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Shopify (Liquid, metafields, theme architecture)
• Advanced HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript
• Experience with Shopify 2.0 sections & JSON templates
• Performance optimization experience
• Experience working from Figma to production

• Experience using AI coding tools like:

  • Cursor
  • Antigravity
  • GitHub Copilot (minimum baseline)

   

Big Plus

• Experience with headless Shopify
• Understanding of CRO & A/B testing logic
• Experience building Shopify apps
• Familiarity with conversion tracking & data layers
• Experience working in fast-paced performance marketing environments
