We are looking for a Python Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team! This is not a typical web-stack role. You will be responsible for designing, building, and owning the complete, end-to-end solution from our high-performance cloud services (FastAPI) to a new, cross-platform desktop application (PyQt/PySide).

• You have a strong fullstack mindset, with the ability to design and implement complete software solutions from the database to the UI;
• You are a proactive problem-solver with a deep respect for reliability and best practices;
• You are excited to own and master both sides of the stack: building robust backends (FastAPI) and leading the development of a new desktop client (PyQt/PySide).

Requirements/Hard Skills:

• 3-4+ years of experience as a FullStack Python Engineer, with a primary focus on backend development and an interest or experience in desktop application development;
• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience building and maintaining services using FastAPI;
• Deep understanding of REST API design, business logic implementation, and integration between system components;
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), ORM frameworks (e.g., SQLAlchemy), and migration tools (e.g., Alembic);
• Practical experience with Docker for containerizing services during development and production deployment;
• Experience or familiarity with CI/CD processes (GitLab, Azure DevOps) — from test automation to continuous deployment;
• Ability to design and deliver end-to-end solutions, from backend architecture to user-facing functionality;
• Experience or strong interest in building desktop applications using PyQt / PySide, including packaging and interaction with local hardware.
• [Nice to Have]: C++ literacy, Embedded Linux, custom OS images, or Raspberry Pi.

Responsibilities:

• Own and architect the complete end-to-end solution, ensuring seamless integration between cloud services, APIs, and the desktop client;
• Lead the development and implementation of a new, cross-platform Python/PyQt desktop application designed to interact with both backend APIs and local hardware devices;
• Develop, maintain, and scale high-performance backend services using FastAPI and PostgreSQL;
• Design, implement, and document robust REST APIs, complex business logic, and service integrations;
• Take full ownership of database design, creating and managing data models and schema migrations using SQLAlchemy and Alembic;
• Containerize services using Docker and manage the build/deployment environments;
• Apply and champion observability and reliability best practices across the full stack, including structured logging, metrics monitoring, and robust error handling;
• Maintain and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Azure DevOps) to ensure efficient and reliable build, test, and release automation.

• Ви маєте від 3-х років досвіду у повноцикловій розробці пристрою з нуля;
• Ви забезпечуєте налагоджену комунікацію та робочі процеси в команді;
• Ви проактивно впроваджуєте технічну документацію та керуєте завданнями, забезпечуючи чіткість та прозорість;
• Ваші запропоновані рішення перевірені та здатні задовольнити потреби кінцевого користувача.
   

Вимоги/Важливі навички:

• Володіння CAD-системами (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD);
• Розуміння технічної документації та змога створювати нову відповідно до ISO стандартів;
• Розуміння електротехніки на загальному рівні;
• Досвід кодифікації виробів;
• Практичний досвід проєктування деталей та виробів для 3D-друку;
• Буде перевагою досвід конструювання під інші технології виробництва: фрезерування, лиття, механічна обробка, тощо.
   

Буде плюсом:

• Від 3-х років досвіду у сфері DefTech;
• Вища технічна освіта в галузі інженерії, машинобудування або суміжних напрямках;
• Досвід роботи технічним керівником, який успішно реалізував повноцінний пристрій з нуля.
   

Перелік основних обов’язків:

• експертиза в створенні пристроїв та технічні рішення застосовані в них;
• підтримка та розвиток існуючої системи обігу технічної документації;
• менторство над молодшими інженерами-конструкторами;
• підготовка документації та виробів до кодифікації;
• проведення внутрішніх випробувань нових пристроїв.

Зараз ми в пошуку інженера, який підсилить напрям комп'ютерного зору — з акцентом на класичні алгоритми CV, які працюють в реальному часі на обмежених ресурсах мікрокомп'ютерів (Raspberry Pi).

Що ми очікуємо від вашого досвіду:

• впевнене знання C++;
• глибокий практичний досвід з OpenCV;
• сильна математична база (лінійна алгебра, геометрія);
• досвід реалізації або оптимізації алгоритмів комп'ютерного зору (детекція, трекінг тощо);
• розуміння роботи в умовах обмежених обчислювальних ресурсів (embedded/мікрокомп'ютери);
• Python на рівні написання скриптів та прототипів;
• англійська — upper-intermediate і вище.

Буде плюсом:

• досвід роботи з нейромережами (тренування або inference: ONNX, TensorRT, PyTorch/TensorFlow);
• досвід розробки для дронів або робототехніки загалом;
• досвід з embedded-системами поза CV-контекстом.

Основні обов'язки:

• розробка та оптимізація алгоритмів комп'ютерного зору (переважно класичних, за потреби — з елементами нейромереж);
• інтеграція CV-рішень з іншими підсистемами (автономія, IPC);
• взаємодія з суміжною командою детекції цілей;
• оптимізація коду під обмеження мікрокомп'ютерів (Raspberry Pi);
• участь у технічних рішеннях команди щодо архітектури CV-компонентів.

Dwarf Engineering is a Ukrainian junior manufacturer that covers the full cycle of development and production of autonomous systems for the front lines. We are a team of punks and hackers in the military technology field developing autonomy modules for robotic systems.
We're missing: a skilled C++ Engineer with 2+ years of experience who's excited to work on physics-related systems.

Required skills:

• 2+ years of professional experience in C++ and related libraries/frameworks;
• Strong background in mathematics and physics;
• Hands-on experience with 3D objects, or at least working knowledge of key concepts such as vertices, normals, and matrix transformations;
• Experience developing image or video processing algorithms;
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns;
• Proficiency in Linux;
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines;

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of CV/AI libraries: Familiarity with popular computer vision or machine learning frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow;
• Experience with Unreal Engine is a strong advantage.
   

👾 In this raid, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and tuning object detection and tracking algorithms for robotics control;
• Participating in real-world validation and testing of vision-based models;
• Preparing detailed reports on algorithm performance and development progress.
