About the Role

We're looking for a junior .NET backend engineer who wants to work on real backend features — not greenfield toys. You'll help maintain an established .NET website while migrating services to ASP.NET Core 8, with APIs that power member profiles, directories, events, and authentication flows used every day — running on the Azure estate behind a live member platform mid-migration.

This is production work: you'll ship endpoints, integrations, pipeline changes, and config fixes into a live platform — ASP.NET Core APIs,  and Azure infrastructure.

The client is US-based, so the team works US business hours; for engineers in Ukraine, this means your working day ends around midnight Kyiv time. This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability.

What You'll Work On

• ASP.NET Core APIs — build Web API endpoints for directories, profiles, picklists, and auth callbacks, with dependency injection, configuration, and automated tests.
• Azure & CI/CD — keep App Services, deployment slots, Key Vaults, and Azure SQL healthy across dev, staging, and production, and work on the multi-stage pipelines (build, test, deploy to a slot, health-check, swap) that ship your code.
• Integrations — work with Salesforce-backed member data, OIDC login, and SSO flows to partner systems, the glue that makes registration, training, and profiles work in production.

Tech Stack

• Backend — C#, .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core (modern Web APIs with Swagger)
• Cloud & Delivery — Azure (App Service, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Application Insights), Azure DevOps Pipelines for deployment
• Integrations — Salesforce (our main data store via REST and SOQL-style queries), OIDC & SAML (login and SSO to partner platforms)

Working Hours & Format

This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability. It's remote, with occasional face-to-face working sessions. Our client operates on US business hours, so the schedule needs to align with US time zones — for engineers based in Ukraine, your working day will end around midnight Kyiv time.

Requirements

The only hard requirement is comfort with C# and basic OOP.

ASP.NET Core, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce integrations you'll learn on the job. We care more about your curiosity and attitude than your CV.
