Backed by strong growth and a loyal subscriber base, we’re now expanding our digital experience - and we need a Senior Shopify Developer to help take our eCommerce infrastructure to the next level.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will lead the development, optimization, and scaling of our Shopify-based storefront. You’ll collaborate closely with other Shopify Developers, designer, QAs, and DevOps to build high-performance, conversion-focused experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and maintenance of our Shopify (or Shopify Plus) storefront.
- Building and customizing themes using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript (including modern frameworks where appropriate).
- Creating custom apps or features using Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
- Improving page load performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Working closely with designers to bring UX/UI designs to life with pixel-perfect execution.
- Managing integration with tools like Klaviyo, Recharge, GA4, GTM, Segment, payment and shipping gateways, etc.
- Ensuring high-quality code through testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Staying up to date with Shopify’s ecosystem, including Hydrogen, Headless builds, and new API features.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 2 years working specifically with Shopify.
- Deep knowledge of Shopify’s theme architecture, including Liquid, sections, metafields, and storefront APIs.
- Strong skills in React, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive UI development.
- Experience working with Shopify Plus and headless commerce setups is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of eCommerce UX best practices and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating third-party services: CRMs, ESPs, analytics tools, subscriptions, loyalty platforms, etc.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and working in cross-functional agile teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Hydrogen / Oxygen or Headless Shopify (e.g. TypeScript + Shopify Storefront API).
- Background in eCommerce.
- Experience working with A/B testing tools like Google Optimize or VWO.
