We are seeking a dedicated Migration/Solution Architect (Mainframes) to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and leading complex modernization and migration initiatives for enterprise clients, with a strong focus on legacy modernization, mainframe transformation, application replatforming. 
Location: Canada is desired but we also consider other locations with occasional business trips to Toronto, ON.
Engagement type: part-time on pre-sales activities, discovery phase; full-time as more load appears. Contract agreement.

What you will be doing: 
- Lead architecture and discovery phases for IBM mainframe modernization programs, covering application, data, batch, transaction, and infrastructure domains.
- Assess existing IBM z/OS environments, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, Db2, IMS, VSAM, GDG, flat files, MQ, and related integrations, to define modernization scope, risks, dependencies, and migration waves.
- Design end-to-end modernization strategies for legacy workloads, including replatforming, refactoring, decomposition, phased migration, and coexistence patterns.
- Define migration strategies across different modernization paths such as rehost, replatform, refactor, decomposition, and phased transformation.
- Lead technical assessments of legacy applications, including static and dynamic analysis, dependency mapping, batch/job flow analysis, transaction boundary analysis, schema conversion strategy, and business logic extraction.
- Design migration approaches for Db2 and IMS-backed data landscapes, including schema conversion, data transformation, CDC-based migration, reconciliation, archive/retention strategy, and cutover planning.
- Define modernization patterns for transactional systems, batch processing, event-driven architectures, API-led integration, and hybrid environments.
- Facilitate workshops and architecture discussions with customer stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership, translating complex legacy platform constraints into practical modernization roadmaps.
- Prepare architecture documents, migration plans, discovery outputs, estimates, proposals, and solution narratives for IBM mainframe transformation engagements.
- Provide governance and architectural oversight throughout project delivery, helping teams make sound decisions during implementation, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
- Contribute to pre-sales and solutioning activities for mainframe modernization opportunities, including technical qualification, delivery assumptions, risk framing, and modernization roadmap creation.

A successful candidate will have: 
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture, or technical leadership roles.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering complex migration or modernization solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of IBM mainframe application landscapes, including: COBOL, JCL, CICS, Db2, IMS. - Experience designing architectures for enterprise applications, distributed systems, and data platforms.
- Good understanding of legacy modernization challenges, including monolith decomposition, batch processing migration, data migration, and integration with on-premises systems.
- Experience working with relational databases and migration strategies, including schema conversion, data validation, CDC-based migration, and cutover planning.
- Ability to identify delivery risks, architecture trade-offs, and mitigation strategies early in the project lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics in a structured and business-friendly way.
- English - C1/C2.
- Possibility to travel to Toronto, Canada if other location.

Will be a plus: 
- Familiarity with modernization and migration tools such as AWS SCT, AWS Transform, AWS Blu Age, CAST Imaging, vFunction, or similar assessment/refactoring platforms.
- Experience with modernization of batch workloads, job orchestration, and migration of online transactional systems.
- Familiarity with observability and APM platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools.
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or public sector.

We are seeking a dedicated Solution / Modernization Architect (C++ projects) to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and shaping complex platform modernization initiatives focused on the transformation of internal C++-based enterprise systems into modern, maintainable, and scalable target solutions built on technologies such as Java and related ecosystem tools. You will work at the intersection of architecture, modernization strategy, discovery, and solution design, helping define the right target-state architecture, migration approach, and phased transformation roadmap for large and business-critical legacy platforms.
Location: Poland (Krakow business trip occasionally). 
Engagement type: part-time on pre-sales activities, discovery phase; full-time as more load appears. Contract agreement.

What you will be doing: 
- Lead architecture and discovery phases for C++ platform modernization programs, covering application structure, dependencies, integration points, runtime behavior, and non-functional constraints.
- Assess existing internal C++ systems, including monolithic applications, shared libraries, internal frameworks, batch or background processes, service layers, interfaces, and platform dependencies.
- Define target-state architectures for modernization of legacy platforms, with a focus on Java-based solutions, modular system design, service enablement, cloud readiness, and long-term maintainability.
- Design modernization strategies tailored to each platform, including incremental refactoring, modularization, service extraction, phased migration, partial rewrite, coexistence patterns, and strangler-style transformation.
- Evaluate and define the role of AI-assisted code transformation within the modernization approach, including its applicability, risks, review process, and quality controls.
- Define approaches for modernization of legacy business logic, internal APIs, service interfaces, integration flows, and platform components while preserving critical business behavior.
- Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Provide architectural guidance to engineering and delivery teams during implementation, helping ensure that modernization decisions remain aligned with the intended target architecture.

A successful candidate will have: 
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, modernization architecture, or enterprise application transformation.
- Proven track record of designing complex modernization or migration solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of legacy application modernization challenges, especially for large C++-based internal systems with long-lived business logic and significant technical debt.
- Strong understanding of modern Java-based architectures and target-state design principles for enterprise platforms.
- Experience in defining different modernization strategies.
- Ability to evaluate and communicate architecture trade-offs related to maintainability, performance, state handling, concurrency, interoperability, and operational complexity.
- ​English - ​C1; Polish ​- C1/C2.

Will be a plus: 
- Direct experience with C++ to Java modernization or similar legacy-to-modern language/platform transformation programs.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted code transformation practices or tooling used in modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with modernization-supporting tools for static analysis, dynamic analysis, dependency mapping, and architectural assessment.
- Experience with modernization of integration-heavy systems, internal APIs, messaging flows, and hybrid platform architectures.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud target environments used for platform modernization.

Required Qualifications:

•  2-3+ years of social media management experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software; 

• Proven track record managing LinkedIn as primary B2B channel with demonstrated follower growth and engagement; 

• Expert knowledge of all major social platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit) and their best practices; 

• Strong writing skills with ability to craft engaging, platform-appropriate copy; 

• Experience creating and managing social media content calendars and posting schedules; 

• Understanding of social media analytics and ability to translate data into actionable insights; 

• Visual content creation skills with knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools; 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to represent brand voice authentically; 

• Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple platforms simultaneously; 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; French is a plus). 

Nice to Have: 

• Experience in cloud computing, AWS, DevOps, or technical B2B social media marketing;
