Deal Baker
Deal Baker builds and runs whole engineering functions for companies that own deep domain knowledge and have nobody technical. We're not a dev shop: we don't sell hours and we don't staff projects.
The CTO gets on a call with the owner of the business, diagnoses what needs building while still on that call, prices it there, and then holds a weekly call with that client for as long as they are one. The person who makes the promise is the person who keeps it β false at every agency that sells hours, and something we prove weekly rather than assert once.
Delivery runs on agents rather than headcount, so the marginal cost of delivery is compute. The ceiling on this business was never engineering hours.
What that has produced. Five production systems running in five unrelated industries. Paying clients since 2023. Revenue that renews every month instead of arriving once at handover. One engineer.
Who we build for. Founder- or owner-led companies up to twenty people. The person across the table owns the decision and usually the money. They understand their industry better than anyone alive, they cannot get software built, and they have usually been burned once already.
