We are looking for a Business Development Manager / Business Development Specialist to support the development of our partner network, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with potential partners across the UK and European markets.
The primary geographic focus will include the UK, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Cyprus, and Malta, as well as other European jurisdictions depending on the company's business objectives and expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential business partners;
- Develop and expand the company's partner network across target jurisdictions;
- Organise relevant business introductions;
- Present the company and its clients to selected potential partners;
- Prepare and coordinate business meetings;
- Participate in initial commercial discussions;
- Manage follow-up communication after meetings and negotiations;
- Support the parties in defining and agreeing on potential cooperation models;
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with selected partners;
- Identify additional business development and expansion opportunities;
- Conduct market research and identify relevant partners, clients, and business channels;
- Maintain and continuously update the database of potential partners and business contacts;
- Coordinate communication between clients, partners, and internal teams;
- Support Business Development projects from the initial contact through to the creation of a concrete cooperation opportunity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Sales, Account Management, or a related field;
- Ability to independently identify, approach, and establish relationships with potential business partners;
- Strong business communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships;
- Strong market research and business research skills;
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously;
- Professional working proficiency in English;
- Proactive, independent, and results-oriented approach.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working with the UK, Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Cyprus, or Malta;
- An existing professional network in one or more of the target jurisdictions;
- Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, Crypto, Compliance, Legal, or Financial Services;
- Experience working with banks, PSPs, EMIs, PIs, CASPs/VASPs, payment providers, legal firms, or compliance service providers;
- Knowledge of additional European languages.

Working Format
Remote / hybrid.
The candidate's physical location is not critical, provided they have a strong understanding of the target markets and can effectively work with international partners.
