    Responsibilities:  

    • Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts.  
    • Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it.  
    • Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan.  
    • Create or assist in creating own test plan.  
    • Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.  
    • Procure or create test data required for testing.  
    • Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).  
    • Deliver releases to production using CI/CD tools  
    • Report test results.  
    • Update test cases based on the discovered defects.  
    • Support the team with testing tasks as required.  
    • Keep himself / herself up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g. automated testing tools and test management systems) and the overview of the business domain. 

       

    Skills Required:  

    • Working as Quality Assurance Engineer for 5+ years.  
    • Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications with the main focus on backend part of the software.  
    • Hands on experience of API testing using Postman or other similar tools.  
    • Good knowledge and practical experience with Git. Experience with Gitflow usage will be a plus.  
    • Practical experience with microservices  
    • Good knowledge of the client-server architecture and communication. 
    • Advanced skills in requirements analysis.  
    • Good knowledge and practical experience working with SQL.  
    • Deep understanding and experience in software development life cycle.  
    • Excellent skills of reading and analysing logs to identify root cause of a defect.   
    • Ability to prioritise test cases based on risk analysis.  
    • Intermediate English level.  
    • Strong proactiveness and communication skills.   

       

    Will be a plus:  

    • Knowledge and experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.  
    • Experience with Kubernetes 
    • Gaming applications expertise.  
    • NoSQL experience  
    • Knowledge and experience in writing Automation tests (Selenium, JUnit or TestNG frameworks).

    • Understanding of Web Technologies. 
    • Experience in work with web applications, CMS.

    • Manage and monitor systems to drive troubleshooting.
