We're looking for a senior QA engineer who's comfortable with both manual and automated testing and owns quality for a feature end to end. 

The team you'd join

• 2 backend developers (PHP / Symfony)
• 3 frontend developers (React / TypeScript)

• Product Designer
• Engineering manager
   

What you'll do

• Own testing for new features end to end — from reading the spec and writing test cases through to verifying the release.
• Expand our Playwright coverage: extend the existing suite and automate the regression cases that currently take the most manual time.
• Run exploratory and manual testing where automating isn't worth the cost yet.
• Practice AI-assisted QA as part of your daily workflow — using Claude Code and MCP to draft and review test cases, test data, and documentation.

What we expect from you

• 6+ years of commercial QA experience covering both manual and automated testing
• Hands-on Playwright 
• Comfortable testing REST APIs and writing SQL against MySQL to verify data
• Solid test documentation: cases, checklists, and bug reports developers can act on without a follow-up conversation
• Hands-on practice with AI tooling in your QA workflow — you use it daily, not occasionally

• C1 (Advanced) English — comfortable in async written communication and on calls

   

Work format

• Fully remote (B2B contract) — work from anywhere

• Flexible hours within an 08:00 – 20:00 (CEST) window

   

Hiring process

Three stages, typically 2–3 weeks end to end:

1. Intro call (~45 min) — non-technical, mutual fit
2. Technical interview — QA / AQA
3. Conversation with the CTO — final alignment
