Oversee the evolution of our complex financial SaaS Frontend architecture.

Department/Project Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer & Team Leader to play a pivotal role in maintaining and elevating our Frontend architecture, while guiding and inspiring our engineering team. Our platform is a financial SaaS featuring a complex UI driven by heavy data manipulation, dynamic charts, custom canvases, and highly interactive tables.

We need a visionary engineer who writes clean, hyper-optimized code, holds a proven track record of leading software development teams, and possesses the patience, strategic mindset, and passion to mentor junior and mid-level peers while driving technical excellence.

We’re looking for a Junior Front-End Engineer (with React Native Expo experience) to join our team.

Work Location: Poland (Krakow), Slovakia (Kosice) or Czechia (Prague).

Hybrid: 2+ days per week in the office, the rest remote.

The Mission

We are building a complex, real-time ecosystem for micromobility and logistics systems sim—where split-second logistics meet seamless user experiences. We need a Junior Front-End to work on the development of our Customer Mobile Web App and our high-utility Internal Admin Panels.

You’ll be the bridge between the sleek, high-performance interface our users see and the robust, scalable Python services that power the logic.

• Mobile-First Frontend: Architect and scale our React-based mobile web application, ensuring 60fps performance and offline-first capabilities.
• Operational Control Centers: Build dense, data-heavy Admin Panels that allow our operations team to monitor real-time logistics, manage users, and handle complex dispatching.
• Scalable Backend: Design and maintain performant APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django) to handle high-concurrency event streams.
• End-to-End Ownership: From database schema design to CSS transitions, you’ll own the entire feature lifecycle.

Who You Are

• The Architect: You don't just "write code"; you design systems. You understand how a change in a Python microservice ripples out to the React frontend.
• UX Enthusiast: You understand that an Admin Panel requires different UX "muscle" (efficiency and density) than a mobile app (simplicity and speed).
• Problem Solver: You’ve dealt with the "hard stuff"—real-time GPS tracking, race conditions in booking logic, or complex state management.
• Pragmatist: You balance the need for clean, tested code with the reality of shipping features in a fast-paced environment.

Will be a plus Led transformation of standalone product into scalable SaaS platform.

Why Join Us?

• App maintenance, releases, production stability & incident handling
• GPS / geolocation + live tracking
• REST API + real-time event integration
• Performance, reliability, and architecture improvements
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

Required Skills

• React Native Expo, Styled Components, Mobx/Redux, WebSockets.
• Experience with Firebase.
• Expo SDK 52+, Expo Modules

Language Skills

English: Upper intermediate (B2)

We offer:

• Challenging and rewarding tasks with autonomy in a distributed international team
• Motivated colleagues who foster a collaborative environment
• Competitive salary based on your experience and expertise
• 20 vacation days + state holidays + your birthday off (for full-time employees)
• Sick leave coverage (5 days for full-time employees)
• Opportunities for regular business trips abroad

Who we are

We've built dozens of tools for creators and sold three of those businesses for seven figures or more. Now we're building our own platform where creators can sell subscriptions and PPV content, chat with fans, livestream and receive payouts. We have $10m in funding.

Who we're looking for

You'll own the iOS and Android app, which we're building from scratch with React Native, Expo and TypeScript. You'll work with our designers and the engineers building the backend and web app.

What you'll do

• Build the iOS and Android app in Expo and TypeScript.
• Ship to both stores and maintain the app after release. You'll handle builds, signing, app review, updates, crash reporting and push notifications.
• Add camera and media capture, secure storage and identity checks using Expo and React Native libraries. Handle background uploads and recover from interrupted transfers.
• Build payments, subscriptions and paywalls. Make sure restored purchases and failed payments leave users with the right access.
• Make chat work when people lose connection and come back. Keep long conversations fast to load and smooth to scroll, and handle messages sent while offline.
• Work in our monorepo. Share API types, client code and design tokens with web, and share UI components where they work on both platforms.

We expect you to look at the Laravel code when an API doesn't give the app what it needs, and work with the backend team to fix it.

What we need from you

• You know TypeScript well and have shipped and maintained React Native and Expo apps with real users. If you've sold an app you built, we'd like to hear about it.
• You've shipped mobile payments, subscriptions and paywalls. You know how to restore purchases and keep paid access in sync with the backend.
• You've taken iOS and Android apps through App Store and Google Play review.
• You understand the stores' billing rules and when you can use external payments.
• You can integrate native libraries in Expo development builds and debug problems on iOS and Android, including build and configuration issues.
• You can track down crashes, slow screens and connection problems on real phones. You understand how backgrounding, force-quit or force-stop, and reopening affect the app's work and recovery.
• You have a good eye for UI and UX. You build beautiful interfaces that feel good to use, with thoughtful transitions, animations and small interactions. When a design leaves out a state or interaction, you can work out what fits.

It's a plus if you've worked on a creator or UGC platform and dealt with its moderation rules. Experience with KYC or age checks, WebRTC, livestreaming, shared design systems or monorepos also helps. Writing Swift or Kotlin modules is a bonus.

Why join us

We already have an audience we can launch this app to. You'll work directly with us in a small team and make decisions about how we build it. The backend uses Laravel, PostgreSQL, Reverb and R2.

How we hire

One paid technical task, then a 30-minute walkthrough. No panel interviews. You have six-seven 🤷‍♂️ hours, including setup. You can use AI; we'll ask you to explain your code and decisions.

Engagement: Freelance / contract only

Workload: Depends on the project — typically 4–12 weeks per project, with repeat work

About the role

We design product interfaces and marketing sites for SaaS, fintech, e-commerce and Web3 clients. A growing share of them can't be built in Webflow — headless storefronts, design-system implementations, high-motion sites, component libraries handed over to in-house engineering teams. That's where you come in.

You'll work from Figma files our team produces, with direct access to the designers.

What you'll do

• Build production frontends in React / Next.js / TypeScript from Figma designs
• Implement design systems in code: design tokens, component libraries with full variant and state matrices, dark and light themes, Storybook
• Work with and extend shadcn/ui + Tailwind setups — several clients run this stack and expect designs to map onto it without custom CSS
• Build headless frontends against client-provided APIs and CMSs (Sanity, Storyblok, Contentful), including e-commerce storefronts with search and faceting (Algolia) and payment integrations (Stripe and similar)
• Implement complex motion: scroll-driven transitions, parallax, GSAP ScrollTrigger, Framer Motion, Lottie — at 60 FPS with GPU-accelerated transforms
• Build data-dense UI: dashboards, tables, filters, charts (Recharts, D3)
• Deliver responsive down to 320px with accessibility basics covered
• Hand off documented, prop-typed components the client's engineers can pick up
• Produce hours-based estimates for incoming leads within 24–48 hours

Must-have

• 4+ years commercial frontend; strong React + TypeScript
• Next.js in production: App Router, SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching
• Tailwind CSS, and experience mapping design tokens from Figma into a Tailwind config
• Component library work: variants, states, sizes, composition, documented props
• Real animation experience, not just CSS transitions — GSAP or Framer Motion in production
• REST/GraphQL integration with proper loading, empty and error states
• Git, code review, clean commit hygiene
• AI-assisted development. Claude Code (or equivalent) is part of how you work day to day — scaffolding components, refactoring, writing tests, exploring unfamiliar APIs. You can go from a Figma screen or a brief to a working clickable prototype fast, using AI to compress the first 80%, then take it to production quality yourself. You review AI output critically and don't ship it unread.
• English B2 or higher — you'll join client technical calls

• Security judgement: we regularly receive leads asking us to clone and run their repository. You must be able to recognise suspicious code and refuse to run it — this came up four separate times in 2026.

Nice to have

• shadcn/ui and Storybook
• Headless CMS: Sanity, Storyblok, Contentful, Strapi
• E-commerce at scale: Algolia, faceted search, large catalogues (1M+ SKUs), Stripe and regional payment providers
• Three.js, WebGL or React Three Fiber for 3D web experiences
• Vercel deployment and Core Web Vitals optimisation
• Web3: wallet connect, contract reads

• Ability to also work in Webflow for hybrid projects

Soft requirements

• Product thinking: you challenge a design if it will be slow, inaccessible or unmaintainable
• Comfortable working directly with designers, not just tickets

• Clear async written communication

Application

Send 2–3 live projects with your role described, a link to a component library or Storybook you built, an example of a prototype you assembled with AI tooling, your rate and availability.
