We’re building a distraction-free reading and copilot experience (think Speechify / Readwise style reading, but inside our own app). To support this, we need robust scraping infrastructure for web articles, blogs, and RSS feeds.

What you’ll build

You will be responsible for designing and delivering a production-ready crawling and extraction solution that can:

• Extract the main article content from web pages with clean, readable formatting
• Crawl archives for a given blog/website to retrieve historical articles
• Filter & categorize pages, excluding non-article content (e.g. nav pages, category listings, legal pages)
• Leverage existing tooling (open-source or paid) to accelerate development where it makes sense
• Define and run evaluations on a representative set of pages to measure extraction quality

We are growing our engineering team and are looking for a Middle Full-Stack Developer to work on React- and Node.js-based products for startups operating in healthcare, fintech, and AI.
 

You’ll be joining a team with mature engineering processes and a modern tech stack, where developers are encouraged to take ownership, influence technical decisions, and build solutions that make a real impact.
 

What you will do

• Develop web applications using React and related tooling.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs with Node.js (Nest.js or similar frameworks).
• Work with cloud environments and containerized setups using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
• Participate in architectural discussions, propose improvements, and help maintain technical standards.
• Implement new features from specification to production.
   

What we expect

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Strong practical experience with React and Next.js
• Knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, common design patterns)
• Familiarity with Node.js (Nest.js or Express).
• Experience developing APIs using Node.js frameworks.
• Understanding of relational or NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Firebase, Supabase).
• Experience and practical understanding of Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Ability to write maintainable, well-structured code and follow best practices.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM solutions into products (OpenAI API, Anthropic, etc.)
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, similar)
• Basic understanding of RAG concepts and prompt engineering
• English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.
