About the role

You will be part of a very lean team responsible for building and testing new education platform. You need to be familiar with back-end software engineering, including development, testing and deployment processes. You will interact with user acquisition and product teams to quickly iterate through hypothesis.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop website for our education platform and internal services;
• Set up interfaces to interact with back-end infrastructure;
• In cooperation with CTO participate in developing system architecture;
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code that will help iterate quickly and safely.

Requirements:

• Fluent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Familiarity with modern frameworks/libraries (ideally both React and Vue);
• Experience working in a team environment (familiarity with Git, habit of writing clean and well documented code).
• Computer Science or Information Technology degree is must!

Will be a plus:

• Understanding of SSR;
• Familiarity with REST.

Job Description

As a Frontend Engineer – CMS, you'll work on the CMS product, which is a core part of Wix's ecosystem and integrates with the Wix Editor. You'll tackle challenging frontend tasks, write efficient code, and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across multiple teams to deliver scalable and high-performance features. In your day-to-day, you will  

• Develop and integrate the CMS product with the Wix Editor and ecosystem.
• Solve complex technical issues and create scalable solutions.
• Own features end-to-end, from design to production monitoring.
• Write efficient, high-performance, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to deliver features.
• Debug and investigate production issues for a seamless UX.

• 5+ years in frontend development with solid understanding of fundamentals (performance, accessibility, testing, architecture).
• Proven experience building/maintaining large-scale React/TypeScript applications.

About the Team

The CMS domain is responsible for operating data, enabling users to model, manage and scale their content across the Wix. 

The domain brings together four frontend teams - two based in Ukraine, one in Vilnius, and one in Tel-Aviv - along with a dedicated backend platform team located in Vilnius. Each team is fully cross-functional and includes its own product manager and UX designer, allowing teams to own their scope end-to-end. 

While teams operate independently, we collaborate closely across the domain to align on architecture, APIs, and user experience, ensuring consistency and long-term scalability.

During wartime, most of the UA teams work remotely. We operate with a hybrid mindset, emphasizing clear communication, ownership, and trust, while maintaining a strong sense of collaboration across locations.
