About the Role

We're looking for a Middle Front-end Developer who loves bringing designs to life and takes pride in delivering polished, well-built products. You'll own the full development cycle – from the first line of code to final deployment – and work closely with designers and project managers to make great things happen.
 

What You'll Be Doing

• Build websites from design to finished product, covering everything from design implementation to final deployment
• Set up and manage shared technical processes across projects – repository structure, dev environments, deployment pipelines, and more
• Ensure the quality, performance, and security of everything you ship
• Write and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
• Take part in project planning, requirements gathering, and task estimation
• Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to get the best results
• Test and debug products before client handoff
• Contribute to the growth of the company: help evaluate technical candidates, suggest improvements to internal processes, share knowledge with the team, and join internal meetings and initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress and React-based frameworks
• Experience with Claude Code + Figma MCP – or a genuine eagerness to learn it
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence in presenting and defending your technical decisions to clients

Nice to Have

• Experience with Webflow and/or Framer.

How We Work

• Fully remote, Monday to Friday – with an office in central Kyiv available whenever you need it
• Working hours: 10:00–19:00, Mon–Fri (with up to ±1 hour flexibility, agreed with your manager)
• Lunch break: 13:00–14:00, or whenever works best for you
• Employment via gig contract

Time Off

We are looking for a Front-End Team Lead to join Ohayu (https://ohayu.com). We are building the easiest way for travelers to stay online anywhere in the world. We’re a fast-scaling B2C mobile + web app (iOS/Android/Web) that lets people buy eSIM data plans in minutes - cheaper than roaming, no SIM shops, no hassle. Thousands of travelers already use Ohayu worldwide, and we’re just getting started.

What you’ll do:

This role is for someone who wants real ownership and real product impact.

• Take full ownership of the frontend architecture and scalability, designing a target architecture to migrate our Preact SPA to Next.js SSR
• Optimize website performance ensuring the fastest load times for users around the world
• Design and implement a robust caching strategy to support global performance at scale
• Add multiple languages to our platform
• Collaborate closely with the design team to translate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive user interfaces and A/B tests
• Improve observability and error handling across the frontend stack
• Refine and implement proper CI/CD pipelines to streamline our development and deployment workflow
• Mentor, support and lead other frontend developers, conducting code reviews and sharing knowledge

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of JavaScript experience
• 4+ years of React experience
• 4+ years of Next.js experience (ideally with hands-on work with App Router or Pages Router)
• 3+ years of TypeScript experience
• Proven experience with migration projects - ideally having led or played a key role in SPA to SSR migrations
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Vercel
• Solid knowledge of crash analysis tools and production monitoring
• Experience designing and implementing caching strategies for high-traffic, globally distributed applications
• Familiarity with i18n solutions and adding multi-language support to web platforms
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Leadership, mentoring and knowledge-sharing skills; you'll be guiding two mid+ React developers that have some experience with Next.js (13/14)
• At least intermediate English level — all work communication is in English

💼 The Role

We're hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to join our small, focused team, you'd be the third web/mobile engineer alongside two existing teammates. You'll contribute hands-on across our entire frontend surface: a React 19 + Vite SaaS portal and two React Native + Expo apps (member and staff), all sharing a TypeScript monorepo with six internal libs.
 

You'll work directly with the founder, the product team, and the backend team. The team is deliberately small, which means your work lands in production within days, not weeks, and there's no extra management layer or architecture committee to navigate. You'll have meaningful ownership of the features and areas you take on.
 

🎯 What You'll Be Responsible For

• Hands-on development of features across the web portal, member app, and staff app
• Iterating on and improving existing features and codebases on web and mobile
• Writing high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable TypeScript
• Collaborating with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs with Tailwind and our component library
• Integrating with APIs and managing server state using TanStack Query
• Building and refining forms with React Hook Form / Formik and Zod validation
• Working on targeted refactors in high-stakes domains (membership, billing, scheduling) alongside feature work
• Helping grow our test coverage, particularly around membership, payment, and access flows
• Performing thoughtful code reviews and helping raise the quality bar across the team
• Continuously improving app performance, responsiveness, and error handling
   

🧠 You're a Fit If You Have...

• 5+ years of professional React experience
• 2+ years of React Native and mobile app development experience
• Strong TypeScript fluency — comfortable with strict mode, generics, and knowing when type escape hatches are appropriate (and when they aren't)
• Solid working knowledge of TanStack Query, Tailwind, React Hook Form (or Formik) + Zod
• Familiarity with react-router (web) and react-navigation (mobile)
• Experience working in mature codebases — comfortable navigating large components, legacy patterns, and gradual cleanup
• An eye for detail and a desire to build polished, high-quality interfaces
• A collaborative, self-driven mindset and ability to take full ownership of features
• Excellent written communication for a remote, async-first team

💰 Compensation & Location
