We are looking for a Product Manager responsible for the complete product development cycle from research to creating requirements, user stories, and specifications for new features for ManageBac. A vital part of the role will be working closely with the ManageBac development team, answering queries, writing detailed stories, ensuring the product roadmap is delivered, and working closely with the Director of Product Management to assist in determining the roadmap via careful assessment of customer, support and sales teams feedback to make informed decisions. Coordinating multiple teams and time zones, this high-communications position requires strong attention to detail to ensure all dependencies are satisfied and that new features are smoothly developed and handed off to the engineering department.

Responsibilities
- Understanding the goals and business needs of the organization and recommending potential solutions;

Requirements

- Good understanding of SaaS types of products;

- Good UX & design sense for Web & Mobile
- A high level of communication between business stakeholders and the team is needed to reach a common understanding of the solution and address the needs.

You will leverage your domain expertise to align our product development efforts with actual operational demands, ensuring product relevance, adoption, and mission effectiveness.π WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Customer Research & Insights: Deeply research and understand military customers, their operational processes, tactical needs, and strategic priorities. Build a robust understanding of doctrine, TTPs (tactics, techniques, procedures), and real-world mission scenarios across domains (land/air/sea).
- Networking & Relationship Management: Leverage your existing network and actively build new relationships within military and governmental sectors to continually validate and refine product-market fit.
- Product Portfolio Alignment: Identify critical customer requirements and translate them into clear, actionable product specifications. Ensure alignment and relevance across the entire product line, including software, hardware, and integrated solutions.
- Operational Relevance: Validate products in realistic military contexts, ensuring they meet or exceed operational requirements. Coordinate closely with the development, operations, and field deployment teams to incorporate direct feedback from military end-users. Use insights from operational environments to shape MVP scope, pilot program design, and go-to-field strategies.
- Strategic Influence: Contribute significantly to the strategic direction and roadmap planning of Swarmer's product suite by providing detailed, evidence-based recommendations grounded in real-world military and defense scenarios.
π WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Military Background/Experience: Previous military service, experience working directly with military operations involving drone technology, or extensive collaboration experience with defense and governmental stakeholders is highly preferred. Proven track record of working closely with military units or governmental agencies.
- Domain Fluency: Working knowledge of UAS operations, C2/C4ISR systems. Understanding of kill chain phases, EW environments, or joint operations is highly valued.
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in product management, project management, or product marketing roles.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with UAV systems, autonomous solutions, command & control systems, and relevant military technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to conduct structured research, analyze complex operational requirements, and convert them into clear product strategies and specifications.
