Project Overview

UADAMAGE is hiring a Data Engineer to join a cross-functional team working on a national-scale Big Data platform for Ukraine. The project focuses on building a geospatial platform for multifactor analysis of territories to support demining and recovery planning. The system integrates remote sensing, environmental and socio-economic indicators, and includes both Big Data infrastructure and AI/ML modules. The platform is under active development with support from governance and international partners.

Role Summary

Design and maintain scalable and sustainable data pipelines within the platform to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent integration of multi-source data. Develop and support workflows for data ingestion, cleansing, normalization, and transformation from internal and external sources (e.g. government systems, commercial registers, API feeds). We’re looking for a Senior React Developer (WebGL / Three.js) to build interactive, high-performance WebGL features for a product environment. This is a hands-on role with ownership over rendering architecture, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build interactive web experiences using WebGL & Three.js.
• Integrate WebGL functionality into React-based web applications.
• Optimize performance, rendering pipelines, and browser memory usage.
• Work closely with product and cross-functional engineering teams.
 

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Three.js / WebGL.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with WebGL performance optimization.
• Product-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
• Senior-level ownership and technical decision-making.

Nice to have:

• React Three Fiber.
• GLSL / shaders.
• Experience working with complex visual or interactive web interfaces (edited).
