About the Role

Join our small, growing go-to-market team as the technical backbone of our enterprise sales efforts. You’ll own the technical side of evaluations — from deep-dive demos to proof-of-concept (POC) execution to deployment guidance — helping IT leaders see exactly how MyWorkDrive fits into their environment and removing blockers that stall deals.

This is not a support role and not pure pre-sales. You are the person who drives technical decisions so sales can close and customers can deploy successfully. As our first dedicated Solutions Engineer, you’ll help build the function from the ground up. What You’ll Do

• Join discovery calls when technical depth is needed and surface blockers early.
• Deliver tailored demos and structured POCs for IT Directors, CISOs, and systems engineers — customized for the prospect’s environment, not a generic sandbox.
• Design and execute POCs under 30 days with clear success criteria.
• Guide prospects through environment readiness: AD/Entra ID integration, SSO, DNS, SSL, storage paths, firewall, and load balancer requirements. Validate everything works before go-live.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID, including SSO via SAML, ADFS, and OIDC.
• Deep knowledge of Windows file sharing, NTFS permissions, and SMB.

·      Experience of working collaboratively in Agile Scrum teams

·      Effort estimation, planning, prioritisation, and time management on an agile team

·      Automation code refactoring experience

·      Writing test approaches for functional testing and exploratory test charters, and communicating test outcomes

·      CI/CD experience, deploying builds (we use AWS CodePipeline and GithubActions, but experience of Jenkins would be useful)

·      Experience of AWS services and AWS tools (e.g. S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc)

·      Experience using Postman, Bruno, Insomnia or similar API testing tools

·      Clear and effective verbal and written communication for reporting, documentation, etc.

·      Experience or exposure to load testing tools - we use Gatling but experience of JMeter would be useful

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Appointment Setter with 1–2 years of outbound calling or appointment-setting experience to support a growing sales team. This is a performance-driven role focused on high-volume outbound calling, appointment setting, and consistent follow-up to ensure scheduled demos occur.


Trial / Screening Period (2 Weeks) :

-Commission-only during trial
-$30 per valid demo that occurs
-Must achieve 14 completed demos within the trial period to pass
-Only demos that show up and occur are counted (no no-shows)
-Successful candidates transition to Base payment

Key Responsibilities :
-Dial a provided list of leads (150-200 outbound calls per day)
-Qualify prospects and set appointments for Account Executives
-Follow up to confirm demos and minimize no-shows
-Maintain accurate call notes and demo tracking
-Communicate professionally on all outbound calls

Required Experience & Qualifications :
-1–2 years of experience as an Appointment Setter, Cold Caller, or SDR
-Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling
-Strong communication and persuasion skills
-Ability to work during U.S. business hours (EST / CST / PST)
-Reliable high-speed internet connection
-Backup power source required
-Organized, persistent, and results-driven
-Available to start immediately
