Producing high quality work to minimize review iteration as well as being good at code review is now the most important part of being an engineer on our team.   The first goal is to launch an MVP/demo version quickly by integrating existing AI tools and APIs. The longer-term vision may include building a proprietary AI video generation engine based on product usage, customer feedback, and accumulated data.
  This is an early-stage product, so we are looking for a hands-on engineer who can work directly with non-technical founders, make practical technical decisions, and help turn a business vision into a working product.
  Role Overview
  We are looking for a strong Senior Full-Stack AI Product Engineer who can take ownership of the technical side of the MVP.
  The ideal candidate should be able to build a web application, integrate AI tools for script/storyboard/video generation, design the core workflow, and advise the founders on what is technically realistic, what should be prioritized, and how to move fast without overengineering.
  This is not a narrow coding-only role. The person should be comfortable working in an early-stage environment, communicating clearly with business stakeholders, and helping define the best technical approach.
  
  Key Responsibilities
• Build an MVP of an AI-powered video generation platform.
• Create a user workflow where clients can submit prompts, provide business context, review scripts, approve storyboards, generate videos, and request changes.
• Integrate existing AI models/tools/APIs for text generation, image/storyboard generation, and video generation.
• Develop the web application structure, including landing page, subscription/payment flow, and user-facing app area.
• Build or integrate an AI chat-style interface for collecting user requirements and managing video creation flow.
• Help evaluate which AI tools are best suited for fast MVP delivery.
• Advise the founders on technical feasibility, risks, limitations, and realistic timelines.
• Iterate on the platform based on testing, feedback, and product metrics.
• Prepare the architecture in a way that allows future improvements or possible development of a proprietary AI video engine.

• Communicate directly with the founders and explain technical decisions in a clear, business-friendly way.

AI–Native Product Team

The Role

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on one of our new AI–native squads, you will own entire features from database to UI. Our stack runs on AWS with PHP/Laravel and Node.js/NestJS powering the backend services, and React with TypeScript on the frontend. You will be expected to leverage AI coding assistants, automated testing tools, and generative AI workflows as core parts of your daily process—not as occasional novelties.

What you will be responsible for:

• Own and deliver features end–to–end across the full stack (backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and data layers)
• Design, build, and operate production systems in a payroll domain where correctness and reliability are non–negotiable
• Use AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as a daily force multiplier for writing, reviewing, and refactoring code
• Write and maintain automated tests with AI–assisted generation, aiming for high coverage with minimal manual effort
• Participate in lean team rituals: async–first communication, lightweight code reviews, and continuous deployment
• Collaborate closely with product and design in a small squad to scope, estimate, and prioritize work
• Contribute to defining and evolving our AI–augmented engineering practices and toolchain
• Take shared ownership of operational concerns: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and on–call rotations

What We Are Looking For

Must–haves:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful exposure to both backend (PHP or Node.js) and frontend (React/TypeScript) development
• Strong proficiency in our core stack: PHP/Laravel and/or Node.js/NestJS on the backend, React with TypeScript on the frontend
• Hands–on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, relational databases, and API design (REST or GraphQL)
• Demonstrated comfort with AI–assisted development workflows—you already use AI tools regularly and can articulate how they change your process
• Strong fundamentals in testing: you know when to write a unit test, an integration test, or lean on AI–generated test suites
• Excellent async written communication—you document decisions, write clear PRs, and can drive alignment without meetings
