Position Overview

You will be working closely with our clients’ team in a team extension format. The client’s office is located in the EST time zone and you are expected to join the daily stand up meetings, planning meetings, etc. (usually in the morning EST time)

The software ingests data from various sources and creates positions, cash flows, net present values, expenses, interest, principal repayments and various analytics based on formulas. This information resides in a database. The users can produce reports in Excel and PDF formats or publish to a Business Intelligence tool that allows to create custom reports and views. Currently Power BI is used, though it is possible that another solution will be used in the future.

Our client needs help with 2 projects:

• Managing the receipt and upload of files, implementation of new and changes to the existing models, data repositories that populate BI tools, BI reports and templates

We're looking for a Technical Lead/Architect who will lead our team to deliver our new Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. You will collaborate with other product and technology teams, as well as lead a platform team to enhance a robust and efficient client experience holistically. You will be responsible for the management and guidance of full-stack software engineering, quality engineering, platform engineering teams, and all facets of resource management, budget, and delivery of the product roadmap. About the project: The project is an application designed for patient management within hospital and nursing home networks in the United States, along with billing and insurance functionalities. It serves two client instances with a shared codebase, but different configurations, handle large amounts of time-sensitive data and has complex DB and code architecture. 

Requirements:  

• 7+ years of experience leading product development delivery teams preferably cloud-based SaaS applications and services
• Strong and detailed knowledge of and experience with modern technology, .NET Stack, Angular, cloud computing, DevOps, continuous integration, and Agile development methodologies
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with all functions at all levels of the organization

• Experience building, operating, and maintaining SaaS applications and services on Azure preferred

Responsibilities: 

• Define and drive the project’s technical vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices
• Lead architecture design and high-level technical decisions across two client instances with a shared codebase
• Conduct thorough impact analysis for all proposed changes to ensure system stability, scalability, and data integrity
• Drive technical excellence across the team by enforcing code quality, security standards, and performance optimization practices
• Collaborate with developers, DB engineer, QA, BAs, and tech writer to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions
• Oversee CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth and secure deployments of time-sensitive healthcare features
• Review and validate system and application architecture to support high-load, sensitive data operations in a compliant manner
• Mentor and guide a cross-functional team of engineers, fostering continuous improvement and technical growth
• Proactively identify technical risks and bottlenecks; propose and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure effective documentation and technical communication across stakeholders

• Database Mastery – proficiency in SQL optimization, data modeling, indexing, and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases;
• Messaging & Performance – hands-on Kafka expertise, high-load system optimization, caching, and distributed computing;
