Required skills:

- Experience maintaining and optimizing complex pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions), ability to standardize how our local team delivers code

Job Responsibilities

- Lead a local team of DevOps engineers; distribute tasks, oversee technical delivery, and ensure the team meets the client’s velocity and quality expectations.
- Translate high-level architectural goals provided by the client into actionable engineering tasks for the team.
- Conduct code reviews (IaC, Terragrunt modules, scripts) and implementation reviews for junior engineers before work is presented to the client.
- Actively contribute to the backlog, handling the most complex infrastructure challenges and automations.
- Drive the adoption of GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux), ensuring the team correctly manages infrastructure and application state via Git.
- Participate in architecture syncs with the client, provide status updates, and proactively flag technical risks or dependencies.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will work in a cross-functional team alongside the Product Manager, Product Designer, UX Writers, Data Analytics, Technical Leads, Engineers and other cross-functional team members to deliver engaging features through A/B tests and build top-notch products, including, but not limited to:

Requirements: 

• Requires 4 or more years of related experience, maintenance, and administration of PostgreSQL databases.   
• Previous SQL Server and/or Oracle database administration experience is a plus.  
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:  

• The DBA should have knowledge of some industry standard PostgreSQL databases including creation and implementation of fully functional PostgreSQL database clusters (both in the cloud AWS RDS and on-premises), ability to maintain multiple development, QA, and production PostgreSQL environments with experience in performance tuning.  
• Review existing configurations and installations and provide design decisions for improvements to platform environments.  
• Assist in planning and performing PostgreSQL database upgrades and migrations.  
• Perform production level support and be part of the on call rotation when required.  
• This position will be responsible for supporting new and existing PostgreSQL database systems, both internally and future Cloud managed instances and will contribute in defining best practices in database administration, and introduce innovation with automation.

• Build and lead a team of security researchers and penetration testers. • Help to reshape JFrog Product Security  

• Plan and execute advanced penetration testing campaigns. 

• Develop tools and frameworks for scalable security testing and fuzzing. 

• Lead Security innovation by building and managing penetration testing tools \ AI Agents

To be an Application Security Team Lead at JFrog, you need… 

• Proven 2+ years of experience in leading application security research Teams (SAAS or software company). 

• 7+ year experience in Research and penetration testing. 

• Strong coding skills and deep technical understanding of web, API, cloud-native, and backend technologies. 

• AI and LLM Penetration testing knowldge and Experience  

• Experience with penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, etc.) and Custom Security Tools development. 

• Familiarity with modern architectures (e.g., Cloud, microservices, containers, Kubernetes). 

• Familiarity with secure software architecture and typical attack vectors. 

• Demonstrated ability to lead security testing engagements and report technical findings effectively. 

• Experience building or integrating automated PT or fuzzing pipelines is a strong advantage. 

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with SSDLC tools and  CI/CD pipelines,  

• Publications or open-source contributions in the security domain are a plus.

About the Product & Team

The primary objective is to mirror an external candidate database into internal infrastructure to remove external API bottlenecks and provide a centralised data layer for downstream AI workflows.

• The Build: Focuses on continuous synchronisation, database replication, and high-volume data ingestion.
• Team Structure: Engineers will work directly with the Head of AI & Technology, a Technical Product Owner, and the existing backend and DevOps teams.
• Lead Expectations: The Lead Engineer is expected to take technical ownership of the workstream, driving architecture and partnering with leadership to unblock teams.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering: Build and maintain a custom API using Python and design services for large-scale data ingestion and replication.
• Cloud-Native Delivery: Deploy containerised services via Docker and Kubernetes while integrating AWS services (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS).
• System Architecture: Implement event-driven patterns using queues and asynchronous processing.
• Quality & Reliability: Implement automated testing (unit, integration, performance) and ensure robust monitoring, logging, and failure recovery patterns.
• Collaboration: Work within agile ceremonies and align closely with DevOps on infrastructure and release processes.

Requirements

Technical Experience

• Core Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python and strong API design experience.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Mandatory AWS experience alongside Kubernetes and Docker.
• Systems Design: Experience with distributed systems, high-throughput services, and messaging/queue-based architectures. 
• Preferred Skills: Experience with data replication or ETL-style pipelines and schema design/evolution.
• Typically 8+ years of experience; proven technical ownership of platform initiatives with the ability to set direction and drive architecture.

Business & Soft Skills

• Market Experience: Background in B2B SaaS platforms, data-intensive products, or AI-enabled environments.
• Mindset: Ownership mentality with clear technical communication and the ability to operate effectively with partial requirements.

3. Stage 3: Technical Assessment (1 hour) including pair-programming.

4. Stage 4: Interview with the Head of AI & Technology.

Engagement Length: 6 months (3 months on custom API build + 3 months integrated into the core team).
