About the Role

We're growing fast and looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and stability of our frontend project. You will work closely in a team with developers, project/product managers, and other QA specialists to identify and report issues, validate new features, and verify overall product behavior. This role is focused on performing manual testing to help ensure that all frontend features work as expected and meet our quality standards before release.

Requirements
 

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of experience in manual Web application testing.
• Proven experience in UI/frontend testing using DevTools.
• Understanding of Web and client-server interaction principles.
• Experience working with Figma for UI/UX validation.
• Basic skills in working with GraphQL/Rest API (sending queries, analyzing responses).
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge and practical application of test design techniques. 
• Proficiency in test management systems (e.g., TestRail, Qase, Zephyr), Jira, Confluence, and Postman.
• Experience in writing test checklists, test cases and bug reports.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, bug lifecycle).

Nice-to-Have:

• Basic knowledge of automated testing concepts.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing of web applications across desktop and mobile platforms to ensure consistent user experience and functionality.
• Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for new and existing product features.
• Develop positive, negative, and boundary test scenarios to validate application behavior under various conditions.
• Participate in various testing phases including smoke, functional, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Analyze and test GraphQL queries and APIs, using Postman, and Swagger
• Create detailed and well-documented bug reports, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

As an Embedeed Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be an important part of our R&D team. You will be a member of our QA team, working in close collaboration with the development team to ensure that our software for high-tech drones meets the quality standards. 

You will design and execute verification strategies for low‑level firmware, device drivers, and flight control software,. You will own test design from requirements to automated, hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) regression, ensuring reliability, determinism, and safety across release. 

This is a full-time office job. Candidates must be located in Kyiv.
 

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Translate system and safety requirements into testable specifications, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices for embedded components. 
• Design and implement automated tests for firmwares. 
• Build and maintain HIL test benches: orchestrate power supplies, oscilloscopes/logic analyzers, RF signal generators etc 
• Develop board bring‑up test suites covering bootloaders, secure boot, installation and upgrade and peripheral self‑tests. 
• Own regression pipelines: containerized runners, artifact retention, flaky‑test triage, trend reporting, and release quality gates. 
• Introduce fault‑injection and negative testing to validate fail‑safe behavior. 
• Collaborate with Embedded Development Team to isolate root causes with traces, logic captures, and on‑target debug  
• Review, challenge, and optimize existing test cases

What you bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.

Основні задачі:

• Участь у повному циклі розробки та тестування програмно-апаратного комплексу (аналіз і уточнення вимог, планування тестування, написання і підтримка тестової документації, підготовка середовища тестування та виконання інтеграційних/системних тестів, підготовка тестових звітів) 
• Внесення пропозицій щодо покращення функціоналу та продукту як з точки зору вимог, так і з точки зору кінцевого користувача

• Розуміння мереж: DNS, DHCP, TCP/UDP порти, firewall, subnet masks;
• Базові або впевнені знання Linux (ssh, scp, top, ps, ls);

Завдання:

• Тестувати VMS-рішення (backend + client applications) та перевіряти стабільність роботи системи в реальних сценаріях використання;
• Валідовувати клієнт-серверну взаємодію та шукати вузькі місця у роботі сервісів;
• Перевіряти мережеві налаштування (DNS, DHCP, порти, firewall, subnetting) та аналізувати їх вплив на роботу системи;
• Аналізувати логи та локалізувати дефекти в Linux-середовищі;
• Працювати з Linux, використовувати консольні інструменти для діагностики та відтворення проблем;
• Створювати та підтримувати тестову документацію (test plans, test cases, checklists);

• Взаємодія з розробниками та бізнес-аналітиком для уточнення вимог. 
• Участь у покращенні процесів забезпечення якості. 
• Ведення тестової документації (тест-кейси, чек-листи). 

Кого ми шукаємо 

• Досвід роботи QA / тестувальником від 1–2 років. 
• Практичний досвід ручного тестування вебзастосунків. 
• Розуміння життєвого циклу розробки ПЗ. 
• Вміння чітко формулювати та описувати дефекти. 
• Розуміння принципів клієнт-серверної архітектури. 
• Уважність до деталей, аналітичне мислення. 
• Вміння працювати з документацією та вимогами.

• Досвід тестування REST API (Postman, Swagger).

 Кого шукаємо?

• 1+ рік досвіду у мануальному тестуванні веб-додатків.
• Розуміння ролі QA на всіх етапах SDLC, досвід роботи в Agile / Scrum.
• Досвід тестування front-end та back-end.
• Обовʼязковий досвід роботи з Postman (API тестування).
• Розуміння HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, client–server архітектури.
• Впевнена робота з Browser DevTools (Network, Console, Application).
• Досвід аналізу логів та пошуку причин дефектів.
• Сильні навички написання та підтримки тестової документації.
• Вміння чітко та структуровано описувати баги з фокусом на спрощення їх аналізу.

• Досвід роботи з SQL та базове розуміння реляційних СУБД.
• Досвід роботи з інструментами по перехопленню трафіку: Charles Proxy, Telescope.

Що ти будеш робити?
• Виконувати мануальне тестування веб-платформи (front-end та API).
• Тестувати REST API та UI відповідно до вимог.
• Досліджувати дефекти: аналізувати логи, мережеві запити, поведінку системи.
• Формувати баг-репорти, які допомагають швидко знайти причину проблеми.
• Створювати та підтримувати тестову документацію в актуальному стані.
• Аналізувати бізнес-вимоги та дизайн для побудови ефективних тестів.
• Тісно співпрацювати з розробниками та продукт-менеджерами.
