📍 Key Responsibilities:

Microservices Development: Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Go. 
CI/CD Optimization: Build and refine CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, delivery, and deployment processes. 
Infrastructure Management: Maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment environments to ensure system reliability. 
Engineering Excellence: Uphold high standards through rigorous code reviews, automated testing. 

📍Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
Core Engineering: Strong fundamentals in software design, focusing on writing clean, flexible, and scalable code. 
Go Expertise: Proven hands-on experience developing backend applications with Go. 
API & Data: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and proficiency in working with SQL databases. 
Containerization: Practical experience with Docker for containerizing applications and managing environments.

About the Team and Role

We’re looking for a proactive, business-minded Go Engineer to join the team building products that help our customers cut down on fraud-related risks. You’ll get to work on our brand new Representment product — saving our merchants hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What you’ll need to do

• Build the Dispute module: collect data from payment systems and make it clear for clients
• Launch the Representment module: create interfaces and APIs for merchants to upload evidence and push it to the Schemes
• Integrate with global payment giants: Stripe, Adyen, PayPal
• Roll out new products with Mastercard, Visa, AMEX

• Develop the financial backbone: invoicing, billing, reconciliation at scale

   

You’re a great fit if you have

• 4+ years of backend development experience, mostly with Go
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL
• Proven track record with microservices
• Strong grasp of high-load system design
• Solid test coverage: unit, integration, functional, and e2e
• Proactive and results-driven mindset
• Initiative and strong decision-making skills

• Solid understanding of business processes

   

Nice to have

• Background in fintech or the financial sector
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Familiarity with AWS and modern CI/CD

About the Team and Role

You’ll join the Billing team and take ownership of the Taxes module — a core part of our billing system responsible for tax calculation and reporting across multiple locations.

The product has already moved beyond MVP and is actively used by customers. The foundational logic is in place, demand is high, and the next step is scaling functionality and reliability.

This role is exciting because you’re not maintaining legacy code — you’re building and shaping a critical system almost from scratch. 
You will have a clear path to Lead: full ownership of the Taxes direction, architectural decisions, and growing a team around it.

Your team — Product Owner, 1 Senior Engineer, Automation QA, and Tax Manager.

What you’ll own

• building tax calculation and reporting logic
• integrating third-party tax providers
• improving system resilience and uptime
• making architectural decisions and setting technical direction
• mentoring engineers as the team grows

In the first months, you’ll deliver key tax functionality and lay a solid foundation for future product and team growth.

We rely on automated testing over manual QA — unit, integration, functional, and e2e tests are a core part of how we ship and scale safely.

You’re a great fit if you have

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience
• 1.5+ years of commercial Go development
• Strong understanding of high-load system design
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with queues or streams
• Strong testing culture: unit, integration, functional, e2e

- Навички роботи з AWS (S3, SES)

Для цього тобі знадобиться

Must have:

• 5+ років досвіду в backend-розробці на Go та 1–2+ роки у ролі Tech Lead / Staff Engineer (з ownership на рівні системи)
• Сильний досвід розробки на Go та проєктування розподілених мікросервісних архітектур
• Глибоке розуміння API design (REST / async communication) та event-driven архітектур
• Досвід роботи з PostgreSQL, NoSQL та оптимізацією запитів
• Вміння будувати scalable та reliable системи (timeouts, retries, idempotency)
• Досвід роботи з AWS (або аналогами) та observability (logs, metrics, alerts)

Nice to have:

• Досвід побудови внутрішніх платформ або робота з high-load системами
• Знання Kubernetes, Kafka / RabbitMQ та CI/CD практик
• Досвід роботи з LLM / AI інтеграціями
