We are seeking a hands-on Senior Database Administrator with deep expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL. You’ll design, deploy, maintain, and optimize highly available, scalable database systems. Familiarity with SQL Server, MongoDB, and cloud-native database services (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database) is a strong advantage. Candidates with database migration experience (on-prem → cloud or cross-cloud) will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect, configure and maintain PostgreSQL and MySQL instances in production
- Define schemas, indexing strategies, partitioning, and sharding as needed
- Implement and manage replication, clustering, failover, and backup/recovery solutions
- Develop and test disaster-recovery plans and runbooks
- Monitor query performance, tune SQL, and optimize configurations

Required Qualifications
3 years managing PostgreSQL in production
3 years managing MySQL in production
Hands-on with AWS, GCP, or Azure managed database services (e.g., RDS, Cloud SQL)
Advanced SQL (indexing, query optimization, partitioning)
Backup & recovery strategies, replication, high-availability configurations
Scripting/automation (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.)
Proven track record of database migration projects (e.g., PostgreSQL → cloud, MongoDB → Atlas, SQL Server upgrades)

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with additional databases (MongoDB, SQL Server, Neo4j, other NoSQL)

Майбутні задачі:

• Забезпечення працездатності БД під керівництвом Oracle
• Резервне копіювання та відновлення БД
• Інсталяція нових БД
• Участь у вирішенні кейсів по відновленню працездатності та тюнінг продуктивності БД
• Робота з розробниками бізнес-додатків по впровадженню та підтримці БД
• Участь у розвитку та оптимізації архітектури нових та існуючих БД

Ми в пошуку фахівця, який має:

• Вищу технічну освіту
• Досвід роботи в якості адміністратора баз даних – 3 роки
• Знання англійської мови на рівні Intermediate
• Розуміння архітектури ти принципів побудови реляційних баз даних
• Базовий рівень знань в області адміністрування БД Oracle ( додатково MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Практичний досвід роботи з адміністрування БД не менш ніж 1 рік

Підтримка та усунення несправностей (управління інцидентами та проблемами),

Розробка та актуалізація технічної та користувальницької документації,

Дослідження та аналіз технічних помилок, виправлення помилок,

2. Розробка навчальних матеріалів та завдань для студентів
3. Оцінка та звітування про успішність студентів
4. Підтримка студентів та відповіді на їх питання під час проходження курсу

5. Участь у професійних заходах та тренінгах компанії
