About the Project
We are developing modern SoftPhone applications for Android, iOS, and a WebRTC client, designed as an extension of our core product PortaSwitch — a Class 4 & Class 5 SIP softswitch platform.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Design and develop the server-side backend of the WebTrit system
• Build scalable, high-performance solutions supporting real-time communication services

• Collaborate with mobile and web teams to deliver seamless product functionality

• Python (strong backend development experience)
• Solid knowledge of Phoenix and Ecto

This role will operate within the Digital Health Applications & Interoperability subgroup of the broader Digital Health team, focused on patient engagement, care coordination, AI, healthcare analytics & interoperability amongst other advanced technologies which enhance our product portfolio with new services, while improving clinical & patient experiences.

Job responsibilities

– Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tooling
– Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and architecture
– Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting compliance and security standards from a quality engineering perspective.
– Design, develop and execute automated test scripts for both front end applications as well as APIs / microservices
– Identify, document and track software defects
– Conduct performance testing
– Work across development and DevOps teams to integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipelines
– Actively identifies system functionality or performance deficiencies, executes changes to existing systems, and tests functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
– May document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations.
– Function Specific: Strategically design technology solutions that meets the needs and goals of the company and its customers/users.
– Leverages platform process expertise to assess if existing standard platform functionality will solve a business problem or customization solution would be required.

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer to join an IoT project.

The project is for a large U.S.-based manufacturing company operating in the industrial packaging domain.

The team is developing firmware for a new generation of industrial devices, built from scratch.
The scope includes both software and hardware design, as well as close, ongoing collaboration with the client’s engineering team throughout the development process.

Tech stack: C, ESP32, FreeRTOS, ESP_IDF, Bootloader/Motor Controller, UART, I2C. 

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in embedded systems development;
• Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and RTOS;
• Experience with C;
• Experience with ESP32;
• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART);
• Experience with secure firmware development (certificates, secure boot, signatures);
• Familiarity with OTA updates and secure logging/telemetry;
• Experience working with CI/CD for firmware projects;
• Good analytical and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally;
