About the role: In this role, you will strengthen our product analytics by bringing senior-level expertise in statistical analysis, retention analytics, and experimentation. The project involves migration from SAP Hybris to a headless Shopify Plus architecture, where Shopify acts as the commerce engine integrated with Java-based microservices and a Next.js storefront. This is not a classic theme-based Shopify role. The focus is on API-first, headless, enterprise integrations.

Key responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain Shopify Plus solutions in a headless commerce setup

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our product engineering team. This is a hands-on role spanning backend, frontend, and cloud integration. We are in a transitional phase—moving from QB Desktop to QBO, redefining our Chart of Accounts, and managing a financial carve-out of a historical business unit from our main operations. You will step in to replace an external consulting firm, bringing high-level work in-house and serving as the "owner of the truth" for our financial data. 
 

We need a "Strategic Modeler"—someone who possesses elite Excel skills but uses them to tell a clear business story. You will be responsible for ensuring our financials are accurate at all times, handling complex revenue recognition, and providing the executive team with a clear view of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, Gross Margin) without needing 48 hours to clean the data first.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the *QuickBooks Online* environment
• Map historical data from QB Desktop to the new Chart of Accounts for seamless Year-Over-Year reporting

• Understanding of Deferred Revenue, revenue recognition principles, and ASC 606
• Strong knowledge of B2B SaaS economics (you know that "Bookings" are not "Revenue")

• High autonomy — can work independently with minimal supervision
