Responsibilities:
1) Regulatory-to-system translation
- Analyse regulatory, licensing, certification, and internal control requirements and convert them into structured, actionable system requirements.
- Produce implementation-ready artifacts such as epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability: clause → requirement → control → enforcement point → evidence artifact → test scenario.
- Define scope boundaries and document scoping decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and compliance rationale.
- Support new market and license-entry activities by preparing technical and product documentation in alignment with other teams.

2) Implementation guidance
- Specify required control behaviours for key platform systems, services, and operational workflows.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and product managers to shape backlog items and ensure compliance requirements are balanced with user experience, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with architects and technical teams to produce diagrams and models such as process maps, sequence flows, context diagrams, and C4-style views where needed.
- Define evidence-by-design requirements, including what logs, reports, configurations, exports, approvals, and audit trails must exist to demonstrate compliance.
- Ensure requirements documentation remains current, accurate, and audit-ready, including changes, decisions, and rationale.

3) Certification and audit readiness
- Define compliance test scenarios, expected outcomes, and supporting datasets for certification, regulatory review, and audit readiness.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing walkthrough scripts, evidence pack indexes, requirement mappings, and response-ready artifacts.
- Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams on control expectations relating to monitoring signals, incident workflows, access evidence, change records, and DR/BCP evidence.
- Support interactions with testing laboratories, certification bodies, and regulators where technical clarification or supporting documentation is required

4) Integration and change requirements
- Specify compliance and control requirements for external integrations such as KYC, PSP, RGS, AML, fraud, and reporting providers.
- Define integration expectations covering logging, traceability, evidence intake, SLAs, change notifications, and operational dependencies.
- Help standardise reusable integration control requirements and “control contracts” for regulated vendors and critical third parties.
- Support scope management and change control by documenting the impacts of requirement changes on compliance obligations, certification scope, and delivery plans.

5) Cross-functional collaboration
- Build strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Legal.
- Act as a trusted partner to product and technical teams on how regulatory requirements apply to specific features, workflows, and jurisdictions.
- Communicate requirements, risks, trade-offs, and priorities clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help identify compliance gaps and support remediation planning for new features, market launches, and platform changes.

Ideal Candidate

Has designed and built a data platform from scratch in an enterprise environment — not inherited a running system, built one. Has pulled data from SAP or comparable ERP into a warehouse and survived upstream failures without silent data loss. Sets standards that other engineers can follow without three clarification meetings. Can make architecture calls quickly and correct them later. Has strong opinions about pipeline observability and data quality.

Skills Required

• SAP data extraction: OData services, RFC/BAPI, SAP Data Services, or CDS views — hands-on experience pulling data from SAP FI/CO modules
• Python — async data pipelines, background jobs, scheduled tasks
• PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations (Alembic), query optimization, partitioning
• Azure Data Lake Storage + Synapse Analytics
• Microsoft Graph API — SharePoint, M365, organizational data
• Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory
• dbt or equivalent for transformation and quality testing
• Redis — queue management, TTL, cache invalidation
• Observability — structured logging, Azure Monitor or Prometheus/Grafana
• Docker — containerized pipeline jobs

Your Experience:

• 2–3+ years in performance marketing, e-commerce, or media buying.
• Experience with TikTok Ads / TikTok Shop or Western markets (US/UK).
• You haven't just "seen" a sales funnel; you have personally optimized one (CTR → CR → Average Check).
• Proficiency in analytical tools (Excel / Google Sheets are your best friends).

Your work is a continuous cycle of Audit → Hypothesis → Test → Scale:

1. Diagnosis: Analyze the funnel to identify where we are losing money. Why is a user watching but not buying?
2. Strategy: Define growth vectors. What offers, triggers, and "hooks" will resonate with our audience?
3. Hypothesis Generation: Create clear briefs for the content team based on the principle: "If we use this hook → we will gain +10% CTR → because it addresses this specific customer pain point."
4. Performance Analysis: Ruthlessly cut what doesn’t work and scale what generates revenue.
