    The Role

    We’re looking for a Finance Manager to lead our finance function, ensuring smooth operations today while building the systems and models we’ll need for tomorrow. You’ll work directly with the founder and help unblock critical parts of the business by taking on core financial and operational work.

     

    This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who’s excited to roll up their sleeves, bring clarity to the numbers, and play a strategic role in shaping the future of a high-growth SaaS business.

     

    What You’ll Do

    Finance Operations

    • Own monthly invoicing: track usage, generate invoices, and chase payments
    • Prepare and submit VAT filings
    • Maintain deferred revenue schedules and ensure compliance with SaaS revenue recognition
    • Oversee Xero accounting and deliver accurate, timely monthly reports
    • Maintain and update our rolling cash flow & liquidity model

     

    Strategic Finance & Growth

    • Build and maintain our financial model, forecasts, and scenario plans
    • Support investor reporting and fundraising planning
    • Provide budget oversight and performance analysis by department
    • Partner with the CEO and team leads on financial strategy and operational decisions

     

    Operational 

    • Handle insurance, VAT registrations, payroll compliance, and employee tax queries across jurisdictions
    • Support legal, compliance, and international expansion projects
    • Step into a light-touch Operations role where needed to keep the wheels turning

     

    Who You Are

    • You’ve been a startup Finance Manager, FP&A Lead, Accountant, Controller, or similar in a B2B SaaS or tech environment
    • Strong grasp of SaaS financial metrics, incl. revenue recognition and cash management
    • You’re pragmatic, action-oriented, and enjoy working across high-level strategy and low-level detail
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to build things from scratch
    • Bonus if you’ve worked with Xero, Stripe, or usage-based billing systems

    • Proven experience in iGaming/Gambling domain, with an understanding of its unique challenges and user expectations.

    • Create Features from Scratch: Conceptualize, design, and validate innovative new features that meet user needs and business objectives within the iGaming context.

    • Produce High-Fidelity UI: Craft visually compelling, on-brand, and user-friendly interfaces using advanced Figma capabilities (components, variants, auto-layout, interactive prototypes with Smart Animate).
    • Rapid Prototyping & MVP Delivery: Quickly develop interactive prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) under tight deadlines to validate concepts and facilitate fast iteration.

     

    Strategy & User Understanding:

    • Align Design with Business Goals: Ensure all design solutions directly support core business objectives, KPIs, and the unique commercial drivers of the Skin Gambling/Casino platform.
    • Utilize UX Metrics: Define, track, and analyze key UX metrics (CSAT, CES, NPS, Time on Task, Error Rate, SUS) to measure design effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Conduct User Research & Testing: Plan and execute appropriate user research (where feasible within constraints) and usability testing to validate designs and gather insights specific to the gambling audience.

     

    Design Systems & Scalability:

    • Build & Maintain Design Systems: Develop, document, govern, and evolve a scalable, consistent, and accessible design system for the platform, ensuring efficiency and coherence across all products.
    • Ensure UI Consistency: Champion and enforce design system usage and visual consistency across all features and platforms.
    • Document Design Specifications: Create clear and detailed design specifications, assets, and guidelines for seamless handoff to the engineering team.

     

    Validation & Optimization:
