The Role You’ll Own Senior/Lead Backend Engineer

• Owning backend development within the product domain and actively shaping technical decisions
• Working closely with stakeholders to turn business needs into practical, well-designed solutions
• Setting a high bar for code quality and encouraging best engineering practices in everyday work
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system integration and make processes smoother
• Continuously evolving the codebase, architecture, services, and development practices
• Leading, mentoring, and coordinating the backend development team

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience (Node.js or Python)
• Experience in people management, with a genuine interest in growing and supporting a team (will be a plus)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work within a dynamic environment

Who are we looking for?

You are the biggest Drupal fan we know. You are contagiously enthusiastic and you never stop learning. You already have experience as a web developer in a web agency. You strive to deliver high-quality projects, on time and within budget.

Experience in Drupal 10 is of great importance. You are excellent with PHP, OOP, SQL & JavaScript. And can dive into version control systems like Git with a big smile!

The mission of the Head of Data is to build a unified data infrastructure and a strong data culture that will enable the company to:

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Data Architecture & Infrastructure  

• Design and develop a unified, company-wide data architecture 
• Document and optimize data flows, sources, storage layers, and data consumers 
• Define the target state of the data landscape and the development roadmap 
• Select, implement, and evolve the technology stack

Business Enablement  

• Build data solutions to support and scale the core business process 
• Provide analytical support to performance, risk, and operations teams 
• Generate insights to optimize costs and operational processes 
• Ensure data accessibility and inclusivity across departments 
• Support management in making strategic and preventive decisions

Data Governance & Security  

• Implement data quality, security, and governance frameworks 
• Manage access control and ensure reliability of data processes

Team&Collaboration

• Build and develop the Data function 
• Establish effective collaboration with business teams 
• Foster a data-driven culture and data enablement (dashboards, data catalogs, training)

Strategy

• Develop and execute the Data Strategy
• Align data initiatives with business goals, KPIs, and management processes
• Evaluate the effectiveness of data solutions and external services

Desired Experience

• Experience building and scaling a data function in a mid-sized or large organization
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data integration
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security
• Experience building teams and leading a data domain
• Strong business analysis skills and stakeholder management experience
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of big data approaches (Spark, distributed processing)
• Understanding of analytics and ML in production environments
• Practical experience with Power BI
• Experience with MLflow / model lifecycle management is a plus
