Overview

We are looking for a Junior / Middle Software Engineer to strengthen our product software team.

This is a hands-on role on onboard navigation product software: you support and extend the system, build and improve tooling, and help keep releases reliable through simulation, replay, and hardware-in-the-loop validation.

The role suits someone who likes understanding how complex software behaves end to end, writes clear code and tests, and wants to work on real UAV systems with experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

System development

• Implement and maintain parts of the onboard product software and supporting services
• Develop internal tools, automation, and utilities used across development and release workflows
• Integrate new features into the production codebase with stable behavior, logging, and configuration

Product software support & verification

• Support, test, and debug components of the onboard navigation product software
• Verify algorithm and integration changes before release: unit tests, simulation scenarios, replay workflows, and hardware-in-the-loop checks
• Investigate failures from CI, field logs, and developer reports; reproduce issues and help resolving them
• Extend test coverage and internal utilities where routine checks can be automated

Engineering quality & delivery

• Improve and maintain CI/CD for the product codebase (builds, Docker images, automated test pipelines, release checks)
• Optimize hot paths and tooling where profiling shows clear wins
• Follow team code standards, participate in code review, and help keep the codebase maintainable

Simulation & replay tooling

• Run and maintain simulation and replay-based validation (software-in-the-loop, logged flight replay, autopilot estimator replay)
• Help expand test scenarios and regression checks as the product and integration surface grow
• Work with flight and navigation teams to turn real incidents into repeatable test cases
   

Required skills & experience

• 1+ years of professional software development experience, or strong equivalent from internships, pet projects, or open source with evidence of shipped work
• Solid Python: reading & extending existing codebases, writing tests, debugging
• Experience with multi-threading, multi-processing, or async applications
• Comfort with Linux as a daily development environment
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows

Overview

We are looking for a Flight Team Lead to head the flight team responsible for testing our flagship R&D product — a GPS-denied alternative navigation system. This is a hands-on leadership role: the right candidate is a senior UAV pilot and a strong technician who can also lead, plan, and grow a small team of pilots and technicians.

You will own the flight-testing function end-to-end: team coordination, mission planning, safety, equipment readiness, data quality, and feedback loops back into engineering and research.

Responsibilities

Team leadership & coordination

• Lead and grow the flight team (pilots, pilot-technicians, UAV technicians)
• Plan team workload, shifts, and field deployments
• Set and uphold standards for safety, pre-flight discipline, and equipment care
• Own the team’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): write, update, and improve them as the product and operations evolve; ensure the team consistently follows them in the field
• Onboard, train, and mentor new team members
• Conduct post-flight debriefs and continuously improve team practices
• Be the primary point of contact between the flight team and engineering, research, QA, and integration teams

Mission planning & execution

• Plan and oversee flight test campaigns aligned with R&D and integration priorities

• Ensure proper test documentation, flight logs, and reporting back to the teams that need the data

Technical ownership

• Own the readiness and configuration of the flight team’s UAV fleet
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and spare-parts logistics for airframes and supporting equipment
• Drive root-cause analysis of in-flight failures and turn findings into concrete improvements
• Contribute to selection, bring-up, and integration of new platforms

• 2+ years of real, hands-on UAV experience covering both piloting and technician work
• Significant real flight time on multirotor UAVs and/or fixed-wings
• Deep understanding of UAV core components (motors, ESCs, FCs, sensors, RC/telemetry links, power systems)

We are looking for a Middle Computer Vision / Visual Navigation Engineer to improve and extend our GPS-independent navigation stack.

This is a hands-on R&D role: you work with real flight data, bring algorithms from experimentation to production, and collaborate closely with software and flight teams. Day to day you balance navigation and CV development, post-flight analysis, sensor calibration, and integration work. The role suits someone who is comfortable with classical geometry-based CV, modern feature pipelines, and turning prototypes into stable behavior on constrained hardware.

Responsibilities

Navigation & computer vision

• Improve existing visual-inertial navigation on real UAV platforms - both copters and planes
• Develop and refine algorithms for estimating position and orientation from camera and onboard sensor data
• Research and implement additional computer vision that extend the current system (e.g. use of satellite data, map or scene-based cues)
• Handle difficult real-world conditions: vibration, blur, changing scenery, sensor noise, and platform-specific setup differences

Flight analysis & tooling

Calibration
