About the role:

• Lead the SEO strategy (technical + content) to build long-term organic traffic

Your Role

You’ll be our first design hire — leading both UX/UI and brand expression across web and mobile. You’ll turn ambiguity into clarity, and early ideas into seamless, visually stunning experiences.

What you’ll do:

- Lead the full UX/UI design process: research, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI
- Design for web and mobile: intuitive, elegant, and responsive
- Simplify complex decisions (destinations, filters, timing, etc.) into clear journeys
- Shape the emotional tone and visual identity of the brand
- Build and maintain a flexible design system in Figma
- Collaborate closely with the Founder, CTO, and engineers — from concept to shipping

What We’re Looking For

- 6+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, preferably within marketplaces, aggregators, or travel/commerce platforms
- A portfolio that shows clarity of thinking, elegant execution, and strategic decision-making
- Deep comfort with Figma, interaction design, mobile-first principles, and design systems
- Experience turning complex flows into beautiful, intuitive interfaces
- Ability to own a brand's voice visually — not just style, but emotion and story
- Bonus: experience with travel, maps, booking flows, or discovery-based apps, motion design, UX writing, or having built 0→1 in a startup

About the Project

We’re building the first global marketplace for ski lift tickets, aggregating inventory from 6,100+ resorts and serving 350M skiers worldwide. Think “Skyscanner, but for ski passes.” We're in the early stages — lean team, real impact, clean slate. This is your chance to help shape quality from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Own manual testing for our web app , APIs, and basic admin tools
• Create test cases, test plans, and execute them across various user flows (search, checkout, payment, etc.)
• Collaborate with product & developers to find edge cases early
• Test real-world scenarios (multiple currencies, languages, devices, etc.)
• Track bugs clearly (we use Jira or Linear — open to your preference)
• Help define our QA process & tools from the ground up
• Optionally support with light automation in the future (not required)
   

You Bring

• 3+ years in manual QA, ideally in web/e-commerce or travel products
• Deep understanding of test design, exploratory testing, and regression
• Experience testing responsive UIs, REST APIs, and 3rd-party integrations
• Comfort working in fast-moving, startup-like environments
• Clear bug reporting, solid documentation habits
• Familiar with tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, browser dev tools
• Bonus: experience with Cypress or Playwright (even at basic level)
