We are seeking a Head of Payment Operations who will ensure seamless deposits and withdrawals, integrate Tier-1 Payment Service Providers (PSPs), manage AML/KYC compliance, and continually enhance conversion while minimizing risk and fraud.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and manage PSPs (Gigadat, Interac, crypto gateways, cards, etc.).
- Own payout flows: fees, limits, risk checks, velocity rules.
- Configure rule-based and machine learning (ML) fraud filters; set alert triggers and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with Legal on all AML/KYC requirements for CA, EU, and Australia.
- Deliver weekly reports on FTD conversion, error rates, chargebacks, and delays.
- Collaborate with Product & Support to refine the payment UX and enhance approval rates.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience running payment operations in iGaming or fintech.
- Proven experience working with Tier-1 PSPs, particularly in Canada, the EU, and Australia.
- Hands-on launch of payout systems, fraud-rule tuning, and dispute handling.
- Firm grasp of payment analytics, fraud patterns, and jurisdictional risks.
- Fluent English for provider negotiations.
Nice to Have
- Experience with crypto on-/off-ramps & blockchain analytics.
- Prior build of Gigadat or Interac cash-out flows.
- Knowledge of card-scheme chargeback mitigation (Visa / Mastercard).
