Requirements (Must-have):
β’ Advanced experience administering Linux-based systems, including strong command-line proficiency and shell scripting (e.g., Bash).
β’ Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Drone, or comparable tooling.
β’ Practical knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, PHP, Ruby, or JavaScript).
β’ Experience working with distributed messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
β’ Familiarity with managing and operating backend production workloads (e.g., PHP, Node.js, or similar server-side technologies).
β’ Solid experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
β’ Experience administering relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Couchbase).
β’ Understanding of core web infrastructure components including Nginx, PHP-FPM, Varnish, and HAProxy.
β’ Practical exposure to monitoring and observability ecosystems such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, StatsD, or New Relic.
β’ Strong grasp of version control workflows, automation best practices, high availability design, load balancing strategies, and caching mechanisms.
β’ Experience working with container technologies and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Exposure to Infrastructure as Code approaches, particularly with Terraform or other tools within the HashiCorp ecosystem (e.g., Vault, Consul, Nomad).
β’ Proven experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures or contributing to platform engineering initiatives.
β’ Background in enhancing system resilience, performance optimization, and cloud cost efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and platform specialists to architect, implement, and operate resilient infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
β’ Administer and continuously refine services to improve reliability, scalability, security, and overall performance across development, staging, and production environments.
β’ Design and evolve automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, release management, and operational processes.
β’ Investigate incidents, conduct in-depth root cause analysis, and support internal teams in resolving complex technical challenges.
β’ Strengthen monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to maintain high availability and accelerate incident detection and recovery.
β’ Participate in the development of new infrastructure components and platform features that enhance system capabilities.
β’ Proactively identify manual or repetitive operational tasks and implement long-term automation strategies to streamline workflows.
