We’re building an internal engineering team to take ownership of a large, mission-critical public sector / enterprise platform currently operated by an external vendor. The system is live and has real operational constraints: reliability, auditability, controlled releases, and security gates are part of day-to-day work.

Technically, it’s a hybrid:

We’re also transitioning to a CIS-based team, so documentation isn’t perfect everywhere. We’re looking for developers who can still move fast safely: read code, trace behavior, validate assumptions, and leave clear notes for the next person.

This role is for a developer first—but someone who also cares about how software ships and runs.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain backend services in C# / .NET 8 (LTS).

What we’re looking for

What we’re building

The role

You’re the execution + people leader for the CIS hub. You’ll hire and run the team, translate executive priorities into a sane delivery plan, and keep engineering moving without burning people out. You’re technical enough that engineers can’t hand-wave you — but your core job is leadership, delivery, and building a team that ships.

What you’ll do

• Build the hub: hire and grow a team of .NET and Full Stack engineers (and a DevOps profile as needed). Own the pipeline from sourcing → screening → offer.
  
   
• Run delivery: planning, prioritization, sprint/kanban execution, dependency management, and unblocking. Keep scope honest and outcomes measurable.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Director to lead and elevate the delivery function across all client projects. This role is critical for ensuring consistent delivery excellence, maintaining high client satisfaction, and driving operational maturity within the company. You will oversee Delivery Managers and Project Managers, uphold best practices, manage escalations, and collaborate closely with C-level leadership.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure Delivery Quality: Own and maintain high delivery standards across all projects in the company;
• Lead & Support Delivery Managers / PMs: Coordinate and mentor DMs and PMs, ensuring they follow best practices and have the support needed to execute effectively;
• Project Health Management: Review and analyze project health reports, ensure accuracy and timeliness of project metrics, and provide actionable guidance;
• Escalation Point: Act as the primary escalation point for clients in complex or non-standard situations; ensure issues are resolved proactively and professionally;
• Risk Management: Identify delivery and operational risks across the portfolio and propose mitigation strategies;
• Client Satisfaction Monitoring: Track and improve customer satisfaction scores; drive initiatives that strengthen long-term partnerships;
• Performance & People Management: Cooperate with Resource Manager by providing your input into performance reviews, salary reviews, and hiring decisions for delivery roles; support talent development;

Requirements:
• 6+ years in software delivery management, including experience in the Delivery Manager/Delivery Director role;
• Technical competence to challenge estimates, participate in technical discussions, and validate solution feasibility. Previous experience as a software developer is very desirable;
• Proven success in managing multiple parallel software projects within an outsourcing environment.
• Strong understanding of delivery governance, SDLC, estimation, risk management, and resource planning; 
• Experience building and optimizing delivery processes and best practices;
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and conflict-resolution abilities;
• Ability to work with C-level stakeholders and provide data-driven insights;
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.
