• 4-6 years of production experience with Python (backend and data‑intensive systems - data ETL flows)
• Strong PostgreSQL fundamentals, query optimisation, and migration.
• Good experience with SQLAlchemy;
• Experience designing background jobs, async tasks, and fault-tolerant workflows;
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs (REST, webhooks, OAuth, background syncs)
• Strong English & communication skills (B2 or hier) 
• A mindset to solve problems, not tasks and testing skills.

As a Risk Operations Analyst at Solidgate, you’ll be the one keeping our engine clean, sharp and one step ahead. You’ll monitor how merchants behave, how money moves, and how risk evolves in real time — making sure we scale safely without slowing down growth.This role is hands-on and impact heavy. What you’ll do

— Analyse risk signals, detect anomalies, and trigger the right actions or escalations
— Monitor compliance with international payment scheme requirements
— Control merchant reserves to prevent negative balances and minimise financial exposure
— Manage merchant cap limits in line with the portfolio’s risk appetite
— Execute and continuously improve daily operational tasks within approved risk processes

As a Junior Operations Analyst, you’ll dive into Solidgate’s internal processes and help optimize them to ensure our clients get the best payment solution on the market.

This role gives you hands-on experience at the intersection of operations, analytics, and product — working side by side with our technical and business teams to make payments seamless for businesses worldwide.

— Conducting technical onboarding of new clients into the Solidgate system
— Supporting processes related to Solidgate’s payment services
— Building new workflows and optimizing existing ones
