Responsibilities and Duties:
- You will focus your time on project planning and execution. Developing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- In order to do this, you will effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of defense projects.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Anticipating potential challenges and proactively addressing issues to minimize project risks.
- You will lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to provide project status, updates, and milestones, as well as address concerns and inquiries.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met by optimizing resource allocation to maximize efficiency and project outcomes.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Assist the Project Delivery Lead, UA, in establishing applicable best practices, policies, and procedures for operating in the government sector.
- Lead the company`s product realization projects in the UA from concept to launch.
- Work directly with OEM manufacturing teams to transition product designs from prototype to production.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to ensure project success.
- Develop test plans, protocols, and procedures to validate product functionality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and implement design improvements as needed.
- Provide technical support, resolve manufacturing issues, and optimize production processes to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Ensure smooth ramp-up and scale-up of manufacturing operations
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years as a Project Manager
- Experience working with and delivering robotic systems, preferably UAS.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in project planning, development, and execution, with the ability to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments to deliver successful defense projects.
- Strong skills in conducting risk assessments and developing effective mitigation strategies to address potential challenges proactively and minimize project risks.

- Scalability & Performance: Maximize model performance on AWSβs by leveraging techniques such as model compilation, distillation, and quantization and using AWS specific features.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (Data Engineering, DevOps, MLOps, Solution Architects, Sales teams) to integrate models into production pipelines and workflows.
Requirements
- Team management experience: 2+ years leading engineers or scientists (people or tech lead).
- Technical experience: 5β6+ years in Data Science/ML (including deep learning/LLMs).
- Excellent customer-facing skills to understand and address client needs effectively.
- Expert in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and hands-on with AWS ML services (especially SageMaker and Bedrock).
- Proven experience with generative AI and fine-tuning large language models.
- Experience deploying ML solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure and familiarity with MLOps best practices.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
A masterβs degree in a relevant field and AWS ML certifications are a plus.
